We’ve been using this laundry detergent for about two years, and it’s one of the few natural detergents I’ve found that actually leaves clothes smelling clean and fresh after every wash. It cleans well, is easy to use, and I’ve been very happy with its overall performance. Refilling the bottle is simple, and I like the concept of reducing waste. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing. I also wish the company offered an option to purchase just the refill packets instead of sending a new bottle each time. That would be more economical and reduce unnecessary packaging. Despite those drawbacks, the detergent itself has worked extremely well, and I’ve continued using it for the past two years. If you’re looking for a natural detergent that actually performs, this is definitely worth considering.

This detergent was great for a nontoxic options and the scent smells so nice. Not overpowering but enough to smell on your clothes. It works great for cleaning the clothes because sometimes nontoxic options don’t get in there and clean as well. But I had none of those problems with this detergent.

I really wanted to like this detergent, the company has a good mission to deliver non toxic options to families and I that is something I look for. The scent is amazing (using essential oils) and I felt you could still smell it once clothes are dried which is a win. The performance, however; is what was lacking. The formula settles in the bottle and at times when I would pour some into the cap little clumps would be present in the water. Lastly, my clothes just did not feel or look as clean as with other detergent. Definitely does not get stains out the way other detergents do.

This detergent was top rated by a website that researches products for toxicity and makes recommendations based upon safety and environmentally proactive components. I decided to give it a try despite not liking the plastic refillable bottle it came with. The scent was very strong upon opening the packet and mixing it with my purified water. However, after a few days, it wasn't as strong. Bear in mind, the scent is from the natural oils used - NOT synthetic fragrances that contain toxic chemicals. If the scent bothers you, they sell an unscented version. It is a bit unnerving when you pour it because it isn't thick like commercial detergents that have colored dyes and toxic chemicals in them. So, watery as it is, I have found it does a wonderful job of cleaning my laundry. I use white vinegar as my fabric softener which reduces the scent a bit. Since I'm not a fan of plastic and the refillable bottle that came with this detergent, I ordered a big glass jug with a pump from Amazon which has turned out to be perfect for this detergent. I came with a funnel to make it easier to pour the detergent powder into it. Four squirts with the pump is equal to a medium sized load. I truly love this detergent as well as the refreshing scent. My laundry comes clean and I am no longer subjecting myself, nor the environment to toxic chemicals.
