HALO 100% Cotton Sleepsack Swaddle, 3-Way Adjustable Wearable Blanket, TOG 1.5, Sage, Newborn, 0-3 Months

As a first-time mom, the HALO SleepSack Swaddle quickly became one of my favorite newborn purchases. It felt noticeably higher quality than some of the other swaddles we tried and my baby seemed extra cozy and comfortable in it. I also noticed that my baby slept longer stretches in this swaddle than in some of our other options. The fabric is soft and the fit felt secure without being too restrictive. The sizing was true to the recommendations. Like most cotton baby items, it may shrink a little after washing and drying so some babies may need to size up slightly earlier than expected. One thing I really appreciated was how well it held up in the wash. Even with the Velcro going through the washer and dryer repeatedly, it continued to work well and maintained its quality. The swaddle includes a double zipper feature which many parents may love, but I personally didn't use it much. Overall this swaddle gave me peace of mind as a new parent and helped my baby stay comfortable and sleep well. I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a high-quality newborn swaddle!

This sleep sack deserves ten stars for how easy it makes middle-of-the-night diaper changes. It is incredibly easy to use, keeping our baby feeling snug, secure, and comfortable all night long. The absolute best feature, though, is the inverted zipper that zips from the top down. When you need to do a diaper change at 3:00 AM, you don't have to unswaddle or fully undress them—you just unzip the bottom, swap the diaper, and you're done. It keeps the baby warm, quiet, and ready to drift right back to sleep. Highly recommend!

Lifesaver for my premie sized baby!!! He sleeps well. Thickness is apt for WA temperature switches and overall quality is great. It’s easy to wash. Highly recommended for a newborn.

My baby girl had a hard time sleeping in her bassinet when she was born. We would wrap her in the blanket swaddles, & she would always break loose, so I was worried about her covering her face with them. This swaddle is perfect for us! She is now two months & has been able to sleep for hours in her bassinet in this swaddle. She doesn’t break free from it & it is nice & warm & comforting for her! She is 11 pounds & getting too big for the newborn sleepsack, so we just ordered the small!

I love that you can swaddle with arms in or out. Beware that it may not last as long as you think if you have a big baby. We got the small size when my baby was one month old because she is a 90th % baby. She now is 24”, 15lbs, just about to turn 3 months old and already doesn’t fit in it (her feet are tight at the end and stretch the swaddle). The swaddle says it is up to 26” but that certainly isn’t true for us. Also, the velcro is already starting to lose its shape so it fits weird around her. Even though she lost it faster than we expected, it saved us many nights and she seemed comfortable in it.

I want to explain why this is the best of its kind BUT NOT what I would personally use next time... I know this is long (it is the longest review I ever wrote only because I deeply care). When I was an arm to side swaddler I loved HALO, this was definitely my top pick, it is very easy to put on, super easy to change a diaper and almost impossible to get out of. The fabric is soft and easy to care of. As for any swaddler you want to make sure child has enough space to move, fold, straighten his legs freely, with HALO he definitely does. The velcro is very long making it easy to control size and tightness, and it's not loud if you would like to keep a sleeping child asleep lol Another great feature is the transition part of it... you can swaddle only one arm or no arms at all, do it one night one arm at first to get your child use to not being swaddled. So for all those reasons and more HALO is the best if you want to swaddle your child with his arms to the side, BUT I would be very careful if you choose this option, since if a child rolls over it can bad very badly (read one of the bad reviews here, this is a very sad story which I wish never happened, God rest that little boys soul). I know you might think that it would never happen to you, but why take the chance when there is something better and safer out there? Again, this is only my opinion and I am almost sure HALO is safe for the first couple of months when a neborn can't roll over to his stomach, I would probably keep using HALO until first signs of rolling over if I didn't know better. Everything changed when I found Love To Dream, it took me a while to decide I wanna try it since it just looked weird, but all the great reviews and the fact the baby can be on his stomach convinced me. Tried it, both baby and I loved it, baby rolled over a few times with it and was able to hold her head high and cry for hating to be on the stomach... anyway that's what it would use next time from the beginning, does the job of keeping baby secure and giving me the ease of knowing baby is safe.

The Halo sleep sack is amazing. My baby loves their sleep sack, helps them fall asleep at night, they sleep longer while wearing it, and keeps them warm all night. Easy to wash and dry. Long lasting, my baby uses it every night and it looks the same as it did the first time we used it.

The band was too big compared to other Halo 3-6 month swaddles. Could barely get it to Velcro because it was so big. Soft, stretchy, and great quality.

My baby started kicking away flannel swaddles a week into his birth. It was impossible to keep one on. And given that they like their arms and body all wrapped up to feel secure, we needed something that could stay put. Halo swaddles are a perfect solution. 1.5 tog is perfect for Canadian households in winter time. They are soft, pure cotton, easy to put on and off the baby, machine washable.. just everything you need those first few weeks to get you baby and yourself some sleep. Love it.
