Good size, not so waterproof.
I love the size, and I love the fact that it comes with a “substrate tray”. Unfortunately I did not have an arboreal tarantula and it was awkward on its side because of the opening lid. PERFECT for pink toes or like a mantis .. ladybugs. What have you. Quality is sturdy! Super easy to clean! The appearance is great, it is a little hard to take the plastic off BOTH sides of the pieces of acrylic but a toothpick did just well to lift the corners; and you peel it right off! Performance is great does what it needs to do. I advise no BABY jumping spiders, they can crawl through the holes of the enclosure.

Good, with caveats
I'm always on the lookout for potential micro gecko, tarantula, or jumping spider habitats, so I was happy to check this acrylic enclosure out. I've tried out a few and this one is similar to most. The slot/tab construction held together with stretchy bands is typical, though the minimal instructions for putting it together are not accurate. They instruct you to fully secure the two sides to the back piece, but then you won't be able to put the top and bottom pieces on. I ended up having to take several bands off to put it together properly and a couple of the bands broke. This isn't usually an issue, except that this kit comes with only as many bands as you need. If you break one, you're out of luck.Once completed, though, this habitat is sturdy, and I like the design of the swing down front-facing door, and the ability to close it securely with a latch. I like the idea of the waterproof substrate box in the bottom, as it allows for higher humidity or live plants without leaking. However, the box doesn't fit snugly in the base of the habitat. I don't think that any tiny inhabitants or prey can escape, as the substrate box if fully surrounded by the habitat's panels, but it means that very small critters and loose substrate can get stuck in the gap between pieces. The airflow slots will also pose challenges if you're wanting to keep very small hatchling geckos or small spiders, or anything that eats fruit flies. I glued window screen material over the slots to make the enclosure more secure.Overall, I did like the enclosure design, and it's as well made as any of the other assemble-yourself acrylic kits I've seen lately. I took a star off due to the lack of better/accurate instructions, and the gaps that will have to be dealt with to keep many of the kinds of very small inhabitants of the type this enclosure is made for.

Fogged and used panels
Not what advertised at all. The side panels are all smoked and not clear.

Good for insects or a very temporary solution
So these terrariums were fairly easy to put to together but several of the silicone rings were hardened so they snapped and there were no extra so some of the connections had no rings. I have also had a couple more snap since using. The terrariums are also very much not leak proof, especially when used horizontally and you can’t put the tray at the bottom. Even just misting will cause leakage. Also the hygrometer is pointless, it is not always 99% despite what it says, but you can’t take it out because it’s leaves a big hole. That being said for transporting and feeding they serve their purpose. I also used one in an urgent situation while I waited for a more permanent enclosure to come in. Just don’t expect perfection with these. I’m sure if you’re using them for an insect that doesn’t need much moisture they would be great! Just be aware that there are also gaps in the door so it would probably be a no go for small critters. All in all, while I hold on to the ones I have, I wouldn’t buy anymore unless I really had to.

Perfect
I was a little worried about keeping track of temperature and humidity in my new pet's habitat, but this terrarium with the built-in thermohygrometer is perfect! It's so much easier to monitor the environment now. The acrylic walls are clear and sturdy, and my little guy seems happy exploring his vertical space. It even feels secure with the locking latch. Overall, this terrarium is a great choice for my needs.

Works as intended!
Is quite large. Great for praying mantis. My grandson is going to try and find a praying mantis so they can raise them in this terrarium. Appears to be built to last.
