Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash, 64 Oz, 2 Pack

My son really enjoys using Meguiar’s Watermelon Bubblegum Wash on his new sports car. The sweet watermelon scent makes washing the car more fun, and it leaves a nice clean shine. What works well: • Good sudsing action that cuts through dirt and road grime. • Safe on all surfaces (paint, wheels, trim). • Pleasant, not-overpowering bubblegum/watermelon fragrance. • Concentrated formula — a little goes a long way. It’s become his go-to car wash. If you want a great-smelling, effective soap for your vehicle, this is a solid choice!

I started this review off with a quick sniff. the soap smells exactly like watermelon bubbalicous. A huge throwback for me. The smell is great. It smells strong but not overpowering. I then mixed up my foam cannon, 5:1 per the instructions. 100ml of soap, 500ml of water. I foamed the car down dry, for the initial cleaning, to get the bulk of the grit/dirt off the car before touching it. Foaminess: This soap foams really well. Very thick foam, 4/5. With good dwell time, 3.5/5. Cleaning ability: the soap cleaned 90% of the dirt off my car, it wasn't super dirty, had only been a couple weeks since washed, but i drove through a couple rain storms. None the less i was impressed. Next i put 3 oz of soap in 3 gallons of water and used my microfiber wash mitt. The slickness was really good. You'd have to be messing up bad to marr/swirl your car with this stuff. I rinsed it off with DI water and was left with a very clean and shiny car. It did its job and did it well. Very effective. Onto value, i think this is where the product slips 1 star. It's just a little less concentrated. I used 6oz of soap for this wash. That would only get me 8 washes per container. At 1.60$ per wash, thats decent, but on the higher end of cost for soaps i've tested. Overall 5 star product, just could be a little more concentrated.

Foams up nicely, leaves a beautiful shine on the car, easy to use, effectively gets the car nice and clean. Seems to be cost effective so far too. It washes away very easily too, so you won’t be stuck washing away the suds for long.

The smell of this stuff is perfect, it smells like an Icee and my neighbors could smell it while I was washing a car. Wash wise, it's good but didn't quite stand up if comparing to something like Koch Chemie Gentle Snow Foam, which is what I normally use. I had to up the amount of soap to 4:1 (the directions say 5:1) get good foam. It doesn't dwell quite as well as I'd prefer, but does better than a lot of options I've tried. Overall, this is a solid choice for vehicle washing and use in a foam cannon. It rinsed easily and left the surface clean with minimal residue attempting to stay on the surface even in direct sun light on a hot day. This is a good value proposition. I'll use it to wash vehicles I car just a bit less about.

Smells good and left a good clean vehicle

I've used a bottle of this and am repurchasing. I originally purchased on the advice of a friend for a car wash that worked well but did not strip off the protection that was previously applied. A couple of capfuls in a bucket produce a nice amount of suds. I used to use a high PTFE content polish that has disappeared from the market, I used this wash with that polish and the shine persisted. I'm still using this wash and following the wash now use Meguirer's detail spray. I use the detail spray every wash, so I can't say (yet until I get around to using a more persistent polish) if the protection is preserved. I like the wash and I just don't have a reason not to give it 5 stars; but I do keep the cars reasonably clean and the wash hasn't been applied to any tough challenges. My car looks nice and clean

I've used this car wash before. I love how it makes all these suds. The bottle is very heavy, dense. That must be all the ingredients to create those studs.
