I have 4 cats and one of them is a very big boy. He would always hang out of the regular litter boxes with the hood and he didn't look happy. I got him this big box and he likes it much better. All the cats like it. The little tray to catch the litter is pointless as they don't even step on it. You will need a litter mat. I find it much easier to clean than the plastic ones I have. My mom ended up ordering one because she has a big cat and he likes this box better too.

Deserves more than 5 stars. My two male Maine Coons share this box. We have ANOTHER box, but this one they LOVE. Easy to clean (I use clumping litter) and NO smell! The size is perfect for their very large fluffy butts (my one male is 28 lbs) and the way the lid is constructed there is MINIMAL litter outside of the box. Highly recommend this litter box to anyone who has a cat. The plastic does not compete with the stainless steel. You'll have this box for a lifetime! High quality!

Great quality, great size for a growing kitten to cat, like the high sides, so no mess.

Habe 3 Kater. Einer davon ist ein sogenannter "Stehpinkler". Mit dieser Katzentoilette kein Problem mehr. Die Größe ist ausreichend für meinen sehr großen Kater. Die Toilette lässt sich einfach reinigen, da nichts haften bleibt. Etwas teurer in der Anschaffung aber ist den Preis auf jeden Fall wert.

First, the positives: the size is excellent. The 8" depth makes a noticeable difference for high kickers, and the extra-large footprint gives my cats plenty of room to turn comfortably. The stainless steel is easy to clean, doesn’t hold onto odors like plastic, and feels far more hygienic long-term. The lids fit securely and help contain scatter without making the box feel cramped. From a functionality standpoint, this is a strong upgrade from traditional plastic litter boxes. However stainless steel does ding easily. Because it’s a thinner gauge metal, it’s susceptible to dents during shipping. I ordered the 2-pack, and unfortunately one of the boxes arrived damaged. It was clearly dented out of the packaging. To Amazon’s credit, they handled it quickly and offered a small discount to compensate, which I appreciated. Still, better packaging or slightly thicker steel would elevate this product from very good to excellent. If you’re looking for a durable, odor-resistant litter box and understand that cosmetic dents are a possibility with stainless steel, this is a solid choice. Just inspect it carefully upon arrival. Would I buy again? Yes — but I’d hope for sturdier shipping protection next time.
