Can this mini saw cut through a standard 2x4 piece of lumber?

This mini saw has a maximum cutting depth of 26mm. While it cannot cut through a standard 2x4 (which is 1.5 inches thick) in a single pass, it is the perfect tool for plywood, MDF, 1-inch nominal boards, laminate flooring, and trim.

Does the kit include blades for different materials, or do I need to buy them separately?

It’s ready to work right out of the box! We include two specialized blades: a 24T TCT blade (85mm) designed for clean, professional wood cutting, and a Diamond blade (85mm) specifically for cutting through ceramic tile, grout, and masonry.

Is this saw easy to use for someone with smaller hands? How heavy is it?

Yes, that is exactly what it’s designed for! Unlike bulky traditional circular saws, the HOTECHE mini saw features a slim, ergonomic body designed for comfortable one-handed operation.

How do I manage all the sawdust when working indoors?

We have included a 1-meter (3.3 ft) dust extraction tube in the kit. You can easily connect this to your home shop vacuum. This feature keeps your cutting line clear of debris and ensures that your workspace stays clean.
