Has anyone used this for dirac on an arcam avr and if so what lead do you need with it?

Hi, According to the manual of the AVR11, the DIRAC compatibility still needs an external computer (PC or Mac) to run the DIRAC software. You would need to set up the computer with the software, and use a good quality sound card which has balanced mic pre-amps with phantom powering because this is a condenser mic. You then use a normal XLR cable to plug the microphone into the sound card. Dayton manufacture a USB version of this mic which would bypass the need for a separate sound card however you would still need an external computer. The Arcam AVR and the computer would be connected via wired local area network. You would need to make sure the calibration files are loaded into the DIRAC software that are provided by Dayton for the particular microphone because they have different frequency response per unit.
