2.6 oz. It only takes a very short burst to test the smoke detector. After a quick burst, wait a few seconds. Most smoke detectors have a few second delay before sounding to prevent false alarms. I have 8 smoke detectors and I've tested twice since getting and it doesn't even feel as if I've used any.

Bought this and tested but I cannot find what the product information would tell me about why it is as flammable and dangerous as described?

This is a compressed gas in an aerosol can.

Does this spray actual smoke or something else? I need something that sprays smoke to determine the location of a leak in an AC duct.

I don't know if it is actual smoke, however a smoke mist appears, so hopefully, that would show a leak by air movement of the smokey mist. Hope this helps.

El aerosol solo sirvió para 6 detectores y se agotó. Creo que la botella no estaba llena o no era nueva. Creo que es importante se honrado en estas transacciones porque afecta el desempeño de la entrega recepción de los trabajos y como tal la economía y reputación de un equipo de profesionales.

**Unfortunately Price more than doubled since I purchased!! Now looking at similar products! Works well! I can now test all the smoke detectors in the house in minutes. Used to take longer as I used burning matches to achieve the same effect. I bit pricey when you factor in shipping, but I got several to give out as holiday presents and that helped with the shipping. It doesn't go up much with each extra can
