Easy to replace, whirlpool wanted $100 for this part, ordered it in the afternoon and received it next day early afternoon, works fine, had to set on lowest setting as it was too cold on medium setting, only negative is old control knob doesn’t slide on all the way, it is too tight of a fit

1/4 of the price of my local appliance parts store, so i was skeptical, but it fit perfectly and works great. It's been in for about 3 weeks now. No complaints.

My 20 year old fridge was exhibiting large swings from high to low temperature. Clearly still cooling, but not regulating the temperature very well. This resovled it. It fit nearly perfectly. The mounting ears, and holes, are slighly narrower than my original thermostat so I had to drill new holes in the metal mounting plate. Not a problem, and worth it to save the expense versus the very-much-more-expensive exact OEM part. Also, the temperature probe part is much longer than my original, but that wasn't a problem. There is plenty of room to coil it up under the thermostat's cover.

Aside from the knob issue, it worked nicely once installed. We were ecstatic. But just over the 4th month mark, it failed. We will get a 2nd one to give it another shot just in case the first was a lemon, but this has been disappointing. We'd much rather pay a bit more for a quality product that would actually last more than a few months.UPDATE: I noticed that this item carries a warranty, so I contacted the seller and they immediately responded. Impressed by the service, so we'll give it another try.

Not an exact fit for the old Kelvinator, had to file the plastic on the refrigerator a bit as knob was 1/4 to far one way. Sensor probe was way to long for my need, but not an issue as this is a garage refer. But, price was good and not the refer works again.As a universal unit, it meet my needs for an affordable price
