Very sturdy, easy to use & works great

Besides the handle getting hotter than say a wooden handle, mfg. apparently traded space for more charcoal for less space for newspaper. Have had issues, therefore, starting charcoal with one try. Otherwise, build quality is good.

My original review follows this revision. Within a day of receiving the review, I got an email from the company stating that they had made a change to the product and they are now producing them with sheet metal screws instead of aluminum rivets and that they were making the change and were going to send a replacement. (After three uses, the aluminum rivets that hold the floor in the chimney melted and allowed the floor to dropout making it useless. I wish I could have returned it... Make sure you make one hot fire in it to test the rivets to make sure they hold up.)on a separate note, I have noticed several reviews complaining about a rust issue... This product is carbon steel!!! Carbon steel will rust unless you put a light coat of cooking oil on it. If you want one that doesn't rust, buy a stainless steel one. But... just know that option is not free. Stainless steel WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE. Mine is the carbon steel model and the coating that they put on has burnt off, there isn't many coatings available that will withstand 1600 degrees F. I look at the rusting thing as a minor issue. The rust DOES NOT affect the performance of the product!!!
