Refluxter Sodium Alginate Capsules 1000+ mg for Acid Reflux LPR & GERD

These were helpful on days when acid reflux was bothering me, and I liked how easy they were to take without preparing a drink. I felt more comfortable afterward and found them useful to keep on hand.

I really liked this product. It is easy to take and has helped me a lot with the discomfort of reflux and heartburn, especially after meals. I like that it does not contain sugar and that the capsules are easy to use. The presentation is also very good and arrived well packaged. I am satisfied with the purchase and I would definitely buy it again.

I’m not gonna lie, I’d never heard of "sodium alginate" before last month. I’ve been dealing with LPR and GERD for 2 years and was tired of antacids that only worked for 30 minutes. A friend recommended Refluxter and I figured I’d give it one shot. For someone who was new to all this, Refluxter made reflux management feel simple. It’s more expensive than basic stuff at the pharmacy, but the high dose and the fact that it actually helps my throat/LPR makes it worth it to me. Glad I found this as my first alginate product.

When it works, it's wonderful. But only seems to work for me about 75% of the time. The other 25% of the time it either makes reflux worse somehow, or makes me wind up feeling like I need to be sick (but without any kind of bad feeling in my stomach). I think the dosage on the bottle is 2 at once, but I find taking just 1 kind of hits the spot best. Works best for me when I take it before bed, because there are some medications I take before bed that wind up making me have reflux more easily if I lay down too soon after taking them, so taking this between meds and laying down seems to help me not be in pain when falling asleep and/or wake up feeling more ok.

I've struggled with occasional heartburn after larger meals, so I decided to give these capsules a try. They've been a great addition to my routine and have helped me feel much more comfortable after eating. The capsules are easy to swallow, work gently, and don't leave any unpleasant taste. I also like that they're convenient to carry when I'm travelling.

After having kids I now get heartburn if I eat after a certain time or eat something specific. I prefer all natural ingredients instead, so this was perfect, cost wasn't too bad, considering it works, its worth it and no bad side effects! I take it in the evening and I dont wake up in the middle of the night with problems.

I think these have been helping me, but I am concerned about the huge amount of sodium in it. From what I have read, it is not actually safe to take the recommended amount of this these pills which is a pill today everyday for a very long amount of time. I was also concerned about the California prop warning on the bottle and found out it is because the pills contain lead. Unfortunately, I don't feel super safe taking these and probably will discontinue them shortly even though I think that they have helped me overall.

This works great against LPR (aka "silent reflux"). I have been dealing with LPR for many years, but with these capsules and my replacement of herbal tea for coffee, my LPR symptoms have decreased dramatically. I usually take one capsule after I eat. If I am beginning to experience the old familiar symptoms, I take two (but I seldom have to take two). I love how fast-acting these capsules are, and they are easy to swallow (says someone who hates to take pills and needs easy-to-swallow or she won't take them at all). LPR symptoms leave almost immediately when I take these capsules. It's pretty amazing.
