Wonderful quality product. Used to make Italian meringue raspberry buttercream for wedding cake. Great color and taste.

This product help me make a beautiful cake for a birthday. It paired perfect with a pistachio cake and raspberry frosting.

Going to liven up my baking without the need for fresh fruit, de-seeding, etc.

This is GOOD stuff!

This has got to be one of the most "natural" products I've ever seen/tasted. Raspberries feel like a very romanticized berry, probably because people think about them in sugary pies, but in actuality they're incredibly tart, and that's exactly what this is. I would never ever recommend getting this powder if you're hoping to add some sweet raspberry flavor, but if you're hoping for a flavor that is both bold and natural, this is the powder for you. I mixed this into some waffle mix to make raspberry waffles so I could top them with chocolate, and let's say they didn't last long. One of the other good things about the flavor being so concentrated/strong is that you don't need a lot of this powder to get the effect, so even though 2oz is a relatively small size, its probably still going to be 10-15 servings worth. If you understand what it is you're getting here, I do think this is a 5/5, just remember what raspberries "actually" taste like, not what you hope they taste like.

I have used this raspberry freeze-dried powder for a couple of things related to making chocolate bonbons. First, you can use the raspberry powder to flavor the ganache that will fill the bonbons. It goes particularly well with dark chocolate and white chocolate ganache. Second, I used the powder to color food grade cocoa butter. I just melted the cocoa butter gently until it was totally melted, then added raspberry powder to the melted cocoa butter through a sieve until I achieved the color I wanted. It does add a bit of flavor, too, so make sure it doesn't clash with any other flavors you might be using. VERY pretty as a first layer for bonbon shells! Great product and a good value! Prefer other brands. Good flavor, but hard to dissolve and left a very powdery taste in the filling I was making. Had to throw it away and remake without this.

Barely any flavor, overly sour, and crumbly. It didn’t mix well and left my pastries with no raspberry taste at all. Totally disappointing.
