Extraordinary quality and value!
What an incredible piece of equipment at a bargain-basement price! It worked right out of the box – switch on the transmitter and receiver, plug the receiver into your mixer and attach the transmitter to your instrument and you’re up and running! The sound quality is amazing. Quite honestly, I cannot tell the difference between the sound coming from this microphone and my Shure stage mics. Now, I would not recommend this mic for vocals, but I’ve used it on my banjo, violin and guitar with excellent results.I did a lot of searching before I discovered this system. Nothing else came close in price, and I don’t see any apparent problems in quality. The main challenge is how to attach it to your instrument. It is advertised as a saxophone mix, and as you can see in the Amazon product images, that should work just fine. However, you will probably have to be inventive to find ways to attach it to various stringed instruments. At this price point, though, you can’t go wrong and you can always jury-rig something to attach it to your instrument, if need be.If you’re wondering, don’t hesitate to buy this. You won’t be disappointed!

I can't believe how good this Mic is for the price it's cheaply made but gets the job done I may buy another one just to have as a backup lol

Terrible for clarinet
I wanted a microphone I could use for home recording and performance of clarinet and soprano saxophone. For starters, the removable clip kept falling off the microphone. Next, the clip didn’t fit the clarinet bell. I managed to get it on somehow and played through a Rockville goparty x10 speaker column. The fidelity wasn’t tremendous but really not bad for what I paid. The problem was that the mike was picking up a lot of key and pad noise to the point where it detracted from the recording.I found a competitive microphone which has a more usable clip, better sound and no key/pad noise. So this is going back.

so conflicted
Generally I would never use a product like this... but...It does work pretty well. I got it as a test, it is so cheap compared... to well... thousand dollar mics I normally use.And it definitely is NOT as good as them. But it is okay... and for a small band, like a birthday party, garage band setup kind of thing I can absolutely see this being used.It is actually pretty impressive. But I don't think it will be replacing the pro stuff anytime soon.

Good clarity
The sound is clear and powerful so far. Was tested today.

I wanted to like this
The microphone was easy to set up and works. But on my sax, the key noise was so loud, it’s really unusable for a studio recording. Might be fine when performing live with a band. Great value. Maybe the clip needs some type of insulation.
