Shaking The Tree: Sixteen Golden Greats

There's only about 5 songs of the 16 on this CD that are upbeat and worth listening to. The rest are slow and boring. I even skipped a couple when they were playing. This is the type of CD if you can't get to sleep, you can put this one on and you'll go right out. Only if you're a Peter Gabriel fan, then I'd say get it otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent Peter Gabriel compilation. This wasn't the remaster, by the way. It's the original 1990-version. Nice quality of sound and the compilation has a good flow. Maybe 5 tracks of So is a bit much and maybe I would have swapped out the album track Mercy Street for In your eyes. But otherwise there's not much to complain. Maybe now that there's the HIT(/MISS) compilation this one has become somewhat superluous, but there's still much to say to prefer this one (or to buy both).

Purchased this after first buying 'So' which skipped from brand new. Represents brilliant value for money and a real trip of nostalgia. Practically all of the best know classic tracks and well produced.

Enjoyed this CD which contains all the hits. Would recommend to anyone.

Replacing a copy I've had for years, which is too scratched to play. One of the family's favourites. Case was cracked in transit which is a bit annoying but CD ok.

Forgot how good some of these tracks are and a great price.

Great music from the 80's

ou presque, manque "rythm of the heat", mais bon mis à part ça c'est un vrai greatest hits. C'est l'essentiel de pete gab, ça n'est pas sa disco complète mais pour faire découvrir l'artiste à mon fils, qui a adoré, c'est parfait.boitier arrivé fêlé, à cause d'un emballage misérable, même pas de plastique à bulle...dommage, le cadeau est toujours moins bien quand le paquet est pourri.

Couldn't find this CD anywhere else. If you like Peter Gabriel, this is a must have. Good price, and shipped right to me. What could be better.

Un best of qui contient des titres cultes comme "Solsbury hill", "Sledgehammer ", "Don't give up ", "Red rain"...A ecouter !

Was soll man da noch zu asgen. BIKo ein Higlight oder auch die Ballade Don't give up." Solche Musiker gibt es leider immer weniger, wo dann die Qualität drunter leidet.
