This is an awesome boning knife. I saw that this beautiful Tuo series is being retired, so I picked up several before they disappear. This has become one of our favorites. It's weighted well, easy to handle safely, and it does a great job of cutting apart a cooked chicken, trimming gristle and fat off raw meats, etc. It holds its edge well, but it sharpens well, too. We are very happy with it.

Did not expect this quality of knife, as it is made in china. Nice thickness to steel and good balance. Came with a very sharp edge and very well packaged. Time will tell if it's truly German steel and how it holds up. But very impressed so far. Cut through tomatoes very cleanly. Will definitely be one of my go to knives.

I own several TUO knives and they are all great. If they get dull just a couple of passes on steel and they are razor sharp again.

Looks great and holds a sharp edge. The problem I have with this knife is the handle design. I’m not sure if this is just my knife or not, but there is a line where the handle meets the metal where your hand is supposed to be that is not smooth. I carved 3 whole chickens and my skin began to feel irritated as the side of my finger was rubbing into the edgy part of the handle. If your hands are at all slippery from oils, fats, or any kind of substance that will make your hands slippery, I’d stop using the knife immediately and wash your hands, as the handle texture does not have a good grip for such cases. Now of course, wearing gloves pretty much render all these problems null and void, until your gloves get too slippery. When it comes to carving specifically, I’ll probably just stick to the cheap plastic handle carving knives that I’ve been using before in the future. Doesn’t quite look all that great, but is comfortable, has a steady grip handle in any situation and does the job just fine.

Here's the truth: Is it the absolute sharpest right out of the box? Not terrible, but not great either. BUT...just a few swipes on my stones and strop and this thing is absolutely the sharpest knife I've ever owned and feels very balanced and great in the hand....for $30!? Great purchase! Going to be fileting A LOT of king salmon with this beaut

This is the best filet knife I’ve had in a very long time. The balance is excellent and it really holds an edge. I rarely have to hone it. I highly recommend this product, but please be careful. It’s very sharp.

I found this TUO brand of knives to be of high quality super sharp and nice to look at all at an affordable price I've purchased the boning and chefs knife.

This boning knife is the a great addition to my kitchen. It’s super sharp. The blade slices right through meat and vegetables. The handle is beautiful. And it came in a nice box. Highly recommend.

Amazing knife, nice and flexible and gets right down to the bone when boning meats. Would highly recommend. Only thing i recommend sharpening before first use.

I use this knife to debone meat for my dog and wow does it stay sharp. I’ve been using this for nearly a year and puts my other high end knives to shame. Handle is very comfortable to hold and feels very premium for its price.
