Holbein210192 Watercolor Palette with Removable Small Rooms, 30 Compartments (32 Petri Dishes, 4 Large)

I had seen this clever palette some months ago but wasn’t willing to pay $80. So glad that I waited. It’s larger than I imagined but it does come with extra pans in large. Lovely red color. Leave it to the Japanese to design such a versatile watercolor palette.

I love Holbein palettes. Tried this Holbein palette since the Holbein 1000’s are no longer available.I like that the pans can be rearranged.They include several larger sized pans which is great for colors that I use more frequently like French Ultramarine Blue.It does stain a bit with certain pigments but that doesn’t bother me as most all palettes stain.Glad I bought it.

This by far the best watercolour palette I have owned. The wells are bigger than full pans so it is easier to use with bigger brushes. It is easy to move the colours around the palette and swap out different colours.

I've been looking for good aquarell palettes for quite some time and now I'm really happy to possess both of Holbein ones. "Made in Japan" is really reliable if you look for quality, and lucky me to be able to purchase from Japan, for in Germany you will not find these. The one with 24 (+2 small and 4 large wells) is better in size, in my opinion: the one with 30 (+2 small and 4 large wells) is way too big, but still can be used for other aquarell collections I possess. Thank you!

絵具の小部屋が取り外しが出来るので便利。

仕切りごとに外せるので、パレットを水洗いする時に便利です。仕切りも大と小があって、よく使う色は仕切り大で使えたりとても便利です👍
