What is the difference between this product at $16.99 and the product with similar wording at $11.99 as shown in compare with similar items section?

I have the $16.99 ones. They have a mic, volume control, and the ability to skip or play previous songs. The $11.99 one, if I remember correctly do not have any of this functions. From my experience, having the ability to control the volume and skip songs without having to deal with your phone is a definite plus.

How well would these block the sound of a snoring spouse?

These work fantastic for drowning out snoring, depending on how bad it is. Sometimes my husband’s was still too much. Also, these don’t last long. I’ve been through 4 pairs of these. I sleep on my left side and in no time at all the left earbud stops working. Not very sturdy at all.

Will these headphones work (volume and other functions) with an Older ipod. It's the 160gb one that's about 15 years old?

I have no idea but I do know the sound quality is not great on them. I use them for meditation, they're fine for that but not for music. I mainly wanted them for the shape so I can fall asleep on my side. They're good for that. They seem to have a tendancy to break after 2-3 months. I'm on my second pair. If I can find another set that don't hurt my ears while lying on my side, I will get rid of these. For now though, it's the only pair I could find that works for that purpose.

Where are these made?

I don’t know where it’s made but the new one I bought (pink) doesn’t have a volume control. I’m very disappointed because all the others I’ve purchased like this, have volume control and that is the reason I bought it.
