Good design
This mount is well designed and constructed. The base has teeth that grip the tree firmly and it has four screw holes to secure it solidly to the tree. The arm is hinged to give you lots of vertical adjustment and the camera attachment screw is mounted on a ball that swivels in all directions allowing you to aim this camera anywhere you need to. I was fairly high up a ladder with a drill when I mounted and aimed the camera and had no problems whatsoever. It's only been up for a week so I can't speak to its toughness against Mother Nature but I'm confident it will hold up. My initial impression is that I got my moneys worth.

Very sturdy and easy to install
I have used a bunch of different mounting brackets for my game cams. Most are too flimsy and shake or come loose with regular breeze. These are very sturdy, easy to mount and adjust and seem to hold the adjustment well. My new go to.

Great way to mount a wildlife camera.
It takes a little maneuvering to put this mount together and then secure it. It works great on both porch pillars or trees. Mount it first and then attach camera.

Sturdy and easy to use
I had originally purchased upperosey TreeDude Metal Mounting Bracket for Trail Camera & Game Camera Solar Panel, but found it not to be strong enough for my newer trail camera with built-in modem which holds 12 AA batteries. This bracket is much stronger. Having the lower joint tightened with an allen wrench works extremely well and there are enough stop points that versatility isn't impaired. I can easily tighten the upper (ball) joint to the point that it supports the camera, which I was unable to accomplish with the TreeDude bracket that I wound up using to support the external modem (8 AA batteries) for an older camera.
