Nice Quality, All Metal - Works Great
Even though the one I got is SAE/Imperial, I tested this on a scrap piece of 8mm (very close to 5/16") stainless steel brake line, and it worked beautifully. Bends were easy to do and there were no kinks/crimps. I tried a few different sweeps/degrees on the bends and they all looked good, from 45 degrees to 180 degrees. You can of course do smaller bends too, pretty much any angle you need. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.The overall quality is quite good too. It's all metal so it's got some heft to it. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheap, and there isn't really any play or wobble at the pivot/fulcrum. It really seems like you would have difficult time damaging this tool under normal use - it feels durable.If you are doing hard hydraulic lines - HVAC, brakes, fuel lines, etc., this is a very worthwhile tool to have. It takes a lot of the guess work out of it and - especially for sharper angles - it minimized the risk of crimps/kinks. Worthwhile.
