Bug Baffler Insect Protective Mesh Shirt, Olive, Large/X-Large

I bought this for my Mom so she could go out into the garden and not be bothered by annoying gnats and other flying insects who seem to adore her. She wears a hat and this fits over it very nicely. The hat keeps the net from covering the face. It's very roomy for over a shirt or even a sweatshirt. The netting is not hot and sleeves are long enough to do stuff, doesn't bunch on top and stay there. Puckers at wrist help keep insects out. Zips off easy, but also just as easy to take the whole thing off. This bug shirt is a real must for outdoor living, why spend all day swatting away flying things that just want to go in your eyes and mouth? Open design makes it hard to see that it's even on.

I love this thing! For some reason I am a magnet to flying bugs with stingers. Now I can fearlessly work in the garden and yard without ducking, dodging, and running from insects. It’s like they don’t even want to bother, almost like they don’t see you. For mesh it does add some heat, but it’s so worth it. It’s very well made, and I love the zippered hood. The fit is spot on. Loose enough that it doesn’t lie flat against your skin. I’m going to order the white one as soon as it’s available. Well done. I’m totally surprised this worked.

I ordered two different brands and this was the winner! The mesh is comfortably pliable, the wide sleeve cuffs are perfect for keeping bugs from crawling inside (little fire ants in Hawaii are my nemesis), and it comes with an envelope-like storage bag that makes it easy to store between uses. It is also long enough to go past your waist. If you paired this with the mesh bug pants, your all set. I will definitely be ordering more for friends.

I have not used mine as yet but one of my friends had it in Canada this June and it seemed to really work. Very fine mesh that keeps the Black Flys off and yet lots of air penetration. He loved it so I ordered one as it seems a good design and love the zipper under the chin for food and drink. Really light weight and rolls up to nothing.

It did what I expected it to do. It kept all manor of flying things from getting at me. Because of the fine mesh it does retain a little body heat and I mean a little. It was nice to go out at the times when our flying friends are out foraging and hopefully frustrating the heck out of them. This is a great product. I have/will recommend it to others.

My wife bought it for me, but she didn't count on how hot they are to wear. Bugs are truly a problem here, and I will wear it during the peak infestation period. Also if I had a wasp or bee hive to destroy, it would come in handy.
