Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm, Refreshing Mint, 4 oz

I should first start by saying that I am a woman with PCOS and have to shave my face daily. Ordinary aftershave lotions haven't done too much to help with the dry skin I often get after a particularly close shave, and tend to exacerbate any razor burn. This stuff is absolutely amazing! I absolutely love the cooling mint feeling; and even though I don't have much of a sense of smell I can definitely tell that this is peppermint. The cooling sensation lasts a while and is definitely a help to my dry, uncomfortable skin. This stuff moisturizes like you would not believe and it does not leave a greasy film or feeling on the skin like some other lotions do. When I use it, I tend to wipe the excess on my hands and it is really helping with the dry skin I get in winter. The only two problems I have found were that they don't make a larger bottle of this, and that they don't make a version for body, because I would buy that in a heartbeat and it would be absolutely wonderful in the summer. A body wash wouldn't be a bad idea, either! It always comes in a discreet box, and usually ends up arriving ahead of schedule. I don't really have any complaints about the price, because this stuff is worth it! The scent is more of a strong minty smell and not what most would consider a "masculine" or "manly" aroma. One actual problem I do have is that the bottle, while sturdy and unlikely to crack if dropped, does require some hard squeezing to get the lotion out. A tube might be easier.

I’m sure there are other brands on the market that also have good post shave products but I’ve always loved Cremo products and they are gentle on the wallet as well as high quality products. It won’t make you smell like a Gucci aftershave, attract unicorns, make you The One, or imbue you with magical skin healing powers, but what it does do ,it does very very well. You simply apply it post shave. Contrary to a long held belief, slapping your face repeatedly during application is completely optional unless you really enjoy that kind of thing, or consider yourself a devoted Ron Burgundy acolyte. Either way, it soothes any razor burn, it cools your skin, acts as a mild astringent and has a slight minty scent that some may not care for, but it disappears fairly quickly so it doesn’t clash with whatever fabulous cologne you plan to use. Plus it’s not expensive at all and just plain works. I can’t recommend it enough!

The only long lasting, persistently moisturizing after shave that doesn't stink that I can find, but seemingly always sold out, leading to having to over-buy when it is in supply.

Ich finde dieses Produkt gut. Egal wie ich mich rasiere, nach Auftragen von Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm habe ich keine Hautrötungen. Das ist leider nicht bei jedem Produkt so. Kleiner Tipp, man sollte den Verschluss abschrauben und die Folie an der Flasche abziehen, sonst kommt nichts raus. :) Dazu kommt ein für meine Nase wirklich angenehmer und dezenter Geruch. Schließlich kühlt das Balm auch die Haut sehr schön, aber recht kurz und nicht so intensiv wie z.B. Floid After Shave. Natürlich ist das Produkt mit über 10€ für nur 118ml recht kostspielig. Aber ich würde einfach empfehlen, es mal für die eigene Haut zu investieren.
