I'm i'm love with this blender, the noise level it's ok for me, have a Lot of power, very durable because of the material, it's very easy to clean looks elegant i'm My kitchen , have not leakagw usinng it.

I waited a few weeks before writing a review on this blender because I wanted to use it & see how it did. I am very pleased with it, especially for the price point. I only use it for smoothies & fraps & it makes them perfectly. I have no complaints at all,it never fails to break up ice, frozen coffee & frozen fruit. It blends protein powder & Coco powder perfectly too. All the cups that come with it work great too. I love that you can unscrew the bottom & screw it to Mason jars too. As you can tell I think that this is a great blender.

We love this machine. We wanted to get a second cup for a previous H-B blender, but they were $8+. This turned out to be so cheap I bought it instead. (We paid about $22. It seems to have gone up since then, but look around for another listing on Amazon.) One of us is on a liquid diet, so it gets used several times a day. We are now drinking lots of fruit smoothies.Likes:Well-integrated blending/drinking cups.Three sizes as shown in the pictures, plus a regular 32 oz. blender cup.Overall small footprint on the counter; we keep it on the counter and never have to get out our full-sized blender since 32 oz is plenty.Many clever design touches, including the way the blade goes on the open end for mixing, then comes off for drinking.It comes with 2 large "sippy cup" lids, plus one lid that can be opened or closed for travel.Very easy to remove from the blender briefly to add more ingredients or give it a shake.The containers seem to be a very sturdy plastic. No BPA. As long as you clean them immediately after use, a jet of warm water is enough although we use a bottle brush.Lots of power, unlike its predecessor. (400 watts I think) I would not run it for 2 minutes straight, but 45 seconds is no problem.Plenty of power to chop frozen fruit or anything else. (See below about full-sized ice cubes.)Good design of the switch. You can easily blip it for a few seconds, or turn it on and let it run.The parts assemble and disassemble very quickly, with no way to put them together wrong (except see below about the "coupling").Flaws:The biggest problem is the high aspect-ratio of the two big drinking cups. (Meaning: tall and thin.)This makes them harder to clean - the bottom of the cup won't get clean in a dishwasher. I understand why they did it - the small diameter is needed to keep the "footprint" of the blender small.We bought a $4 bottle brush which is perfect for cleaning them and solves the problem.The small cup does not have this problem - they should provide two small and one large, instead of vice-versa.The high aspect ratio also sometimes leads to poor circulation between the top and bottom when blending. Be sure to leave a one inch bubble inside, so you can remove it and give it a quick shake.When we first got it, we sometimes failed to push the cup down far enough on the base. The result was rapid erosion of the coupler between the blades and the base. (Details of the design are tedious - it makes sense once you see it.) So far this has not caused any problem.Minor safety flaw: The switch is very easy to trigger accidentally. There is no "completely off" setting other than unplugging.For the most part the design is very safe as the blades are completely inaccessible while it's mixing. HOWEVER you CAN put the blades onto the base without any cup. (There's no reason you would want to, but I did it once when we first got it.) In that situation, it is dangerous since a momentary touch of the hair-trigger switch will start the blades and shred anything they touch, like fingers.In short, I would have preferred a safety interlock that prevents the motor from running unless everything is in the right place.Tips:Use crushed ice. If you must use full-sized cubes, take care that they don't jam the blades.Order of ingredients matters. Frozen ingredients go in the top, so when you blend they are on the bottom.Keep the overall mixture liquid enough. For example, add milk in addition to yoghurt. I suspect with 90% Greek yoghurt, it would never mix the top and the bottom.Overall: we love it and use it constantly, as mentioned. I'd like to give it 5 stars, but the tall aspect ratio requires several adjustments to deal with.

I've purchased this in March 2017 and this still runs like it was running on first day. It does it's job very well within the power output it can deliver. I would like Hamilton Beach to sell Jar separately. After 6 years, the rubber gasket which is around the jar blades have worn out and turned out to break down as powder and is mixing with food.

I at first loved this, then just yesterday the motor started smoking and died. I don't think I had had this more than 3 months... im so very disappointed. I paid not premium price but I have a very fixed income and try very hard to live as healthy as I can. I am also a vegetarian so smoothies are a very crucial part of my diet...i have to wait to next month as I am on social security to get another blender...i am so very angry...

I'm so impressed with this blender that I had to go back and review. I got it as a temporary solution, expecting it to fail within a couple of months (especially after reading some reviews). I just needed something cheap which I would probably not take with me when I moved so I got what I thought was a 'store brand' version of the more popular blender you might know.This blender has not failed after one year and it's been used nearly every day for protein shakes and smoothies. I've crushed ice, fruit, veggies and it cared not.The cups are very convenient for making quick shakes while the blade is possibly the easiest to clean, due to the design (the blade comes off with a quick twist when you lift the cup, no need to disassemble anything or reach into anything). It' a great durable convenient package which I highly recommend.

This smoothie blender isn't too loud at all. It also has nice, big blades so it does a good job cutting up fruit, etc. Now, for the negatives: the blade and the screw on section should be all one unit. If you don't get it just right it spits out around the edges. I almost sent it back, but this is the 3rd brand I have tried and at least the sound is tolerable.

Estoy muy feliz de haberla comprado, es muy práctica, el embacé pequeño para moler especias es perfecto, también funciona para moler ajo u otros condimentos no muy grandes.Les sugiero que antes de licuar cualquier producto lo piquen en pedazos pequeños, así dura más su licuadora.

Works very well. I am being very careful with it not to leave it on too long and if I do I give it rests in between pulses and do not put anything to hot in it based on some of the other reviews I read but it works well and I really love it.

As I have two kitchens I always wanted something small for my pantry type kitchen. Already with many appliances on the deck this one is my fav addition which I was looking for. Be if morning juice or making spread or chutney it does it all. The attachment of 3 jars are quite efficient. Unless you lock the jar the motor won’t start. Lot of thought given to the design. I wish to buy the beach Hamilton someday. Till now I am happy with the smaller one. Great product. Less sound. Perfect for small kitchens. May be big expensive for India but fine if you appreciate the good product n design.

It is a great blender for smoothies and making paste for cooking! The travel mugs are add ons as i do not have to wory for something to carry for my work after making a smoothie or ice coffee!Durability 10/10 a built looks like it will serve a year or moreFunctionality 9/10 (the travel cups are a bonus but if the could be used for blending then it would be perfect)Quality 10/10Would I buy it again if needed? - Definitely
