Brilliant camera, tiny, easy to use, amazing battery life! Just got 2 more, used 1 over a year already. I use it to warn me when elderly relative wanders in the night and to check they are OK - motion detection is great, night vision impressive, very wide field of view. App is really good. You need to register an email address with the Ubox app, but I do not need to subscribe for cloud services or use a memory card - just access camera in the app on my phone. I can also easily share access to the cam even with less tech-comfortable family members, they just have to install the app. With motion detection off the battery lasts for weeks and weeks, viewing the cam several times a day, and even with it on it certainly lasts for many days, so it's fine even if I can't get to it for a week or two. I also used it on a model railway to get cab-ride view, and recorded video to my phone. It's tiny enough to fit in any nook, or an RC car or model railway truck (it was O Gauge). Not crazily high quality which is better for file size but still good enough to be lots of fun. For me the most valuable thing about it is it's very practical and useful for checking on a vulnerable elderly family member. Highly recommend!

I'm a week into using this camera. I've installed it into a newly established Hedgehog house. Good points: - Easily connected to WiFi, good signal - Easy to setup via the app and easy to use with good features - Crystal clear day vision picture quality and very good night vision picture quality - Accurate motion detection activity and adjustable recording lengths and sensitivity - SD card was easy to set up and install - Battery life has been nothing short of remarkable, a week in and barely moved a couple of percentage points. - Small profile allows it to be installed easily, especially in small spaces - The mounting bracket that is supplied is easy to install with the pre-applied self adhesive and allows for a great range of positioning. Cons: - Genuinely none so far! I will update my review should I find any. Conclusion: For the price you pay for this camera, it really is an amazing value proposition that just works and does the job very well. I did shop around for options before purchasing but nothing seemed to have all of these features in this form factor for this price, while having an established consistently positive review score.

The setup was quick and easy and the video quality is clear at night, with a wide-angle lens gives me a perfect view of the room. I love that I can check in on my home anytime through the app. The camera itself is compact and blends in nicely, so it doesn’t feel bulky or intrusive. The camera feels of good quality and robust, so it should last. The camera works great. The image is clear both day and night and the battery lasts a long time. I like that there is a choice to record on an SD card or on the cloud. . The app is simple to use and I immediately receive notifications when it detects movement. Great purchase for peace of mind.

Easy to set up and get using straight away. Came about half charged so had a play to see if worth keeping and once it passed my test runs put on for full charge. Even after best part of 2 weeks use it’s still 70% charged and working well. 2 negatives are that sound often had high pitched white noise on playback which I though might be due to me having phone in pocket near to camera but still does this at times without my phone being nearby. Second is as others have reported does pick up movement straight away so even on top setting it misses first second or two of movements. Might not be too much of issue if for example used as security and intruder stays within view of camera for a while so recording picks up but if they just pass across view of camera it will miss and record after event of nothing. Tried a counting test of 1 to 10 while walking in view and it picked up from 4 and then again from 9 and 10 on 2 different recordings Recorded picture quality good enough within range and I am sure it will be used for intended purpose not like other cheaper cameras that are now in junk drawer.

Dinky, cute little camera that holds its charge for weeks and weeks. A present for a friend who tells me it is remarkably useful around the home. Straightforward set up and if you insert a micro SD storage you don't need to sign up to the cloud services. She has it facing her front door and have set event duration to 10 seconds though it does record for minutes at a time on occasions which may be related to some sound events but it is not a big deal. The software is similar to Wyze as she has one of those too. You simply connect it up by scanning the QR code which is nowhere near as annoying as the voice on the Wyze cams which continuously prompts "ready for connection"! She tells me the app works intuitively and pressing on the image takes you to settings. She can toggle through to her events too and once micro SD is full take it out to check the videos then re-format it. Highly recommended for a discreet cam that can be placed just about anywhere in the home. However, it doesn't work on the window sill pointing outwards as the glass affects the sensor.

It's a neat little unit and has pretty clear visuals. It is disappointing that the movement sensor doesn't work through glass though. It's not weather proof, so if you want to see outdoors then you need to place it in a window, but with no movement alerts, you have to have the capacity to record footage all day otherwise risk not capturing activity. I'll be purchasing a different camera and potentially move this one for indoor use.

Bought for a friend. She found it complicated to set up, unfortunately not being techie minded, it’s still not operating connecting to her Wi-Fi…. Hence 3stars at the moment. The actual camera is small, discreet and looks well.

Motion activated, good def, easy app, but wait for them to go on sale
