Much better than the cheaper stuff. I've used the bargain brand and it does do a fair job. I decided to try it to save a couple of bucks and because I could get several rolls in one package at one time. This tape just simply does a much better job. No redo's because of tape tearing, balling up and/or lousy leaky seals. I think I actually save time and tape by not having to throw pieces of it away because it tears and gets wadded up before I even get it on the threads. Like most other things when it comes to tools and related work supplies, you get what you pay for, and this is a very inexpensive way to upgrade the quality of your work.

I don't do much plumbing, but this keeps the connections on my air tools from leaking. I usually wrap it around 3 or 4 times.

Worth every penny more over the "cheap stuff"
