This is actually 3 books in one, Strategy, Leadership and Innovation. It's over 500 pages and could do some serious damage if you dropped in on your foot. The book is too big to read cover to cover but more to dip in and out of, and full of practical detail. What I love about it is it's written from a perspective of helping you create the roadmap, strategy or an innovation lab. It's not theoretical, it has the usual case studies, but it's written kinda like a recipe book, with 10 step action and red-flags in each section in place. I am using the blueprints to write our technology roadmap.

It’s inspiring for someone looking for the complete picture of the CTO training program, and it also requires readers to invest more time to get an essential background about management and leadership before reading this book.
