Since having kids most especially teenagers our silverware disappears. The silverware fairy just flies away and it never returns. I’m told by other mothers their kids throw them in the trash. This may be what happens to ours too. However, after buying multiple expensive sets I’ve given up. My house agreed to use plasticware for the foreseeable future. I personally would prefer actual silverware so this was a compromise for me. Hey at least they are silver!!! I figured for the price they would not be very sturdy but I was happily surprised. They are sturdy enough to eat chicken, cucumbers, you name it! Oddly enough I have recently found most of our missing silverware but washed them, put them in a ziplock and put them high in the pantry. I now notice I run the dishwasher much less often. We went ahead and bought paper bowls, plates, paper towels, toilet paper and this awesome plasticware in BULK. It’s been such a weight off my shoulders as now after breakfast/lunch/dinner I only have to wash pans and cooking utensils. I do feel a little guilty about the environment but my sanity has been much improved. I highly recommend buying these in bulk. These silver plasticware are not your average flimsy forks and spoons. They are strong. I wish they sold them without the knives as that’s the one item in my utensil drawer that never got lost. I probably have 500 real butter knives and now notice a bulk of knife plastic ware. Having these in the silver color somehow makes me feel less of a mom failure when passing out food. These aren’t just for fancy parties!

Happy with my purchase. I used this for a wedding shower and received many comments on how much it looked like real silverware. Very sturdy and expensive looking. I only wish the packaging was different. I was hoping it would have dividers to separate knives, forks and spoons like other sets do, so that I could set the box out and people could easily grab what ever utensil they needed. There are no dividers. For that reason only, I took off one star.

These look great, and are heavy duty enough not to bend or break. Have been using these for many years, and have reordered many times. Love these for family parties and church home group.

Perfect for my husband’s birthday party. Looked fancy but affordable! They held up well and noticed no breaking even with fried chicken and sides.
