Very disappointed. I have never before had such hard and crust-like tootsie rolls. My elderly husband cannot eat them, when he has always loved them. I am not elderly and find them too hard. Are they outdated? We ordered this bulk supply but had to discard them. What happened?!

The quantity was less for the money

I didn’t read reviews before ordering. BIG MISTAKE! These are old and completely stale and rock hard. Unless your are Jaws, there is no way you can eat these without breaking all your teeth.

I was so happy to find these two-pound bags of Tootsie Rolls. We each take turns hosting a football get-together every week. Last week was our turn to play host. I wanted something different for the table and when I saw these I thought they would be perfect. I filled my football-shaped bowl with the bag and they were the centerpiece on the coffee table. Everyone had fun snacking on them.Everyone kept saying they hadn't had them since they were kids and had forgotten how tasty they were. I am so glad I bought them and will remember to keep a bag on hand from now on. I bet most of our friends will as well.

The bag of Tootsie rolls was open when I opened the Amazon box. The Tootsie rolls are hard as a rock, they are old. Tootsie rolls are soft. Can't return but I'd like my money back.

My wife had me buy these for my father for his birthday. He loves Tootsie Rolls, but these were so hard and stale he can't bite down on them. Can't recommend buying them.

Love the product, but the freshness was not there. Very hard and now I have 5 lbs I can't eat.
