This is a very nice tool roll. I used it to place tools and pens into so I could work on some art while traveling. it is NICE and long and has so much room!The leather strip along the bottom keeps some delicate tips protected during packing/hauling around.Love, love, love this!

I was expecting a pouch that was leather and canvas, but this really isn't either. The clasp / bands are confusing and I'm not sure how they are supposed to work. While there are plenty of slots for lots of clay tools, they aren't spaced too well and the "leather" lip on the bottom isn't wide enough to accommodate tools that aren't flat and slim. This is still an ok case, but I would not recommend it and do regret getting it. I think I was just excited to get a case that had a bit more character and quality to it - real canvas, roll-up artist style, with something to keep it shut (even if it's just two lengths of rope or leather).

I selected this item to keep all my polymer clay tools together. I love the way the caddy has an elastic band down the center and has 51 loops to hold that many tools. There is a thin sheath of toffee colored vinyl at the bottom so that tools won't fall out, as long as that side is kept down. The material is very sturdy and houses sharp tools without worry of puncturing the surface. There is a bias edge along all four sides with a very long nylon cord that is looped and has a 1.5" metal key-ring at the end to use as a weight so that it can be tied when folded closed. If the nylon loop is tied a certain way, the caddy can be hung up on the wall so that the tools are situated horizontally and easy to access. The only negative I would note is that the material off-gases a little but if put outside in the sun that will take care of that.

I used this to hold my brushed and other wooden tools to use in my ceramic studio practice.It works well, except a lot of the brushes I use have thicker wooden handles, and they don't fit in the elastic slots. There's only room for 2-3 bigger brushes.Other than that, you can fit a LOT of tools in here, as long as they're similar in size to a pencil.

The Sugarbush Creek Trading Company-Universal Tool Caddy is a well made tool bag, I got it to hold all the little pottery tools that you accumulate. The material is thick and well stitched with no loose threads or snags. The elastic loops hold tools of varying sizes with ease and the whole thing rolls up and ties shut. Very happy with this product.

This tool caddy is medium quality I would say. It's doing ok for now but I don't think the 'leather' piece across the bottom or the elastic holders for tools will be super long lasting. Still, it is nice to be able to organize my tools a bit.The biggest downside to me is the fact it's only meant for small tools. The elastic holsters are all the same small size and the bottom flap won't work for bigger tools. So unfortunately, this won't help me with more than half of my pottery tools.Overall I think this caddy could be great for people who want to carry a lot of pens, pencils, paintbrushes, etc. but keep in mind that larger tools won't work out well in it.

This carry-case is very well made. Nice tough material, and if the trim isn't leather, it looks and feels like it. There are plenty of compartments, and although the slots are a bit tiny for some of the items, the whole case works well enough to justify $15.95. There are few larger slots that can be used for erasers and small pencil sharpeners and other select tools. Because the case closes by folding over, there is room for most of the items you might want to travel with.Recommended.

I don't have enough clay tools to warrant a case as spacious as this one but I thought it might make a nice roll for my colored pencils and it does. It's a bit short for new pencils (depending on brand) but once they've been sharpened a time or two, it's absolutely perfect. It did hold the clay tools I have quite well as well. The roll is very well made and feels super durable and high quality.
