CDs playable at last!
About to dispose of all my CDs, I felt such a pang of nostalgia on looking at the covers that I decided to buy a radio/CD player so that I could re-acquaint myself with all my much-loved favourites. This was the product I eventually chose: small (relatively small footprint), attractive, and easy to use. I have no regrets and may now be seen singing away in the kitchen to Gene Pitney etc (out of hearing of anyone else, of course!).

Boombox
Really pleased with my new Boombox, been looking to purchase one for long time as all my cd's were lying dormant since my last expensive cd player stopped working. This one is quite basic and easy to use so I'm quite happy and didn;t cost the earth, value for money.

No Bluetooth and lack of volume
I wanted to like this Roberts boombox but sadly I felt it wasnt worth the money and it doesn't have Bluetooth like the listing said it does admittedly that might not be Roberts fault I tried the radio it was not bad reception for FM and I must say the build quality of it was good and the cd played well and sounded good but the downside I'd say is that it doesn't go very loud only a maximum volume of 16 and I just don't think it's worth the ยฃ60 price tag when you can get a boombox with a better volume and more features for less money if this had abit more volume and Bluetooth I think I'd of liked it alot more and kept it

Nice appearance, good quality sound
I needed something fairly basic to play my old CDs in the kitchen, while at the same time wanting decent sound. The stand-alone CD players were terrible quality (and mostly got poor reviews) so I paid a bit more to include a radio I didnโt want. Roberts is a known reputable brand which helped my decision to buy this one. I like it very much - small and neat, simple to use and good sound quality.

Poor Product !
Thought I was buying a quality item, sadly not the case !. No instruction booklet and only the radio worked.

Good as CD player, not as a radio
CD player works well, easy top load to get CDs in / out, nice sound quality for a small portable device. The radio however was rubbish. When I plugged the mains cable in it interfered with the reception and you could not get many stations (it worked OK on batteries). Also the radio functionality is incredibly basic - no scan, no presets, no station name recognition, just a nob to turn to manually tune stations. Really like something from the last century. Very disappointing from a Roberts radio, I had to return it. However, if you just want to play CDs it's good.

Excellent Value For money
Excellent value for money and easy to use.The sound is pretty good for a a radio CD player. It does want it says on the tin so speak giving value for money for playing CDs and listening to the radio.
