I own a townhouse. After finally evicting the last tenants. I was shocked to find a unbelievable amount of bed bugs. Never having that problem in my life, I had no idea how difficult it would be to eradicate them. First I tried store bought products, which was a complete waste of hundreds of dollars. Then I hired an exterminator, packed my bags and went to a hotel for 4 weeks. They were back with in a month of coming back home. I was at my wits end. Then relative told me about UV lights. Of course after everything I had be through, I was skeptical. Unbelievable results!!! I bought 2. They are actually working. I have been rotating them in the three bedroom for an hour each time. The first time I was shocked by the amount of bed bugs that covered the mattresses and floors!! After 3 days, none. I've moved the lights down to the first floor now. After 3 days of using them down here, I'll be moving them up stairs againThe other bonus is, my home smells fresh and clean. Thank you so much.

I have never had it run the full 60 minutes. I was afraid there was something wrong with the timer in it and then I noticed that it would beep that it was shutting down when I heard my AC kick on - every time. I guess the AC is causing something to move in the room that shuts it down. I guess this is good safety feature to make sure no one is in the room moving, but I wish it had a sensitivity adjustment.

This product is great. We have used it for about a month. It gives the air a fresh clean feel.

I've had no problems with this product. I love how it has the safety feature that turns off when an animal or person is near. I had to come out to adjust the light and it didn't turn off but delayed a bit then turned off and my arm seemed to itch afterward but nothing major. You could smell whatever it is after it cleanses the room. I got it mainly because my dog has dermatitis and allergies so I hope after using this a couple of rounds to get rid of mites and molds her itching might stop. We'll see but I recommend!

No persons, animals or plants can be in the room while this is running!!!! Makes it hard when you have pets and plants! Who knows if this works at all. I got it on a prime deal and thought it couldn’t hurt. Hard to figure out how it really turns on. Lots of beeps that are not exactly like the directions say. I tarektbusevit because of the restrictions of not being able to be in my room size for an hour. If you have no pets or plants and can start it when you leave for work then it could work for you! If it really works … no way to tell.

I tested the product for 15 minutes and it worked well. However, when I tried it for 30 minutes, it only worked once.I believe I may have received a defective unit, as it does not seem to be suitable for a large room but rather for a smaller space like a bathroom. I did not notice any significant impact from the product other than a metallic smell in the room.

I have recently become interested in sanitizing the air in our home. I really wanted to get an ozone machine but especially with young children in the home, am hesitant to deal with the possible adverse health effects of exposure to that if we don't air out the rooms properly before returning to them. So I was excited to find this device.It's pretty simple to run, even if you do lose the remote...Turn off ceiling fans and anything else that moves in the room (no live things in the room like people, pets, or plants), plug it in, hold the power button until it beeps, then leave the room and close the door. If you have the remote you can choose how long it runs, otherwise it will go for 30 minutes.The one thing I did not expect is that you are still supposed to air out the room for 30 minutes afterwards, even though it doesn't do ozone. I'll have to look into that to figure out why it is, but that's what it says so that's what I do.The light tubes have mercury in them, which makes me extra careful with them. Years ago we had some of those light bulbs that have mercury in them, and it seems like the box said that if a bulb ever breaks you have to evacuate the room, so be careful with it, find out what to do in case a bulb does break, and when the time comes to throw it away please look up how to do that as well - you don't just throw it in the garbage.We thought when the kids weren't toddlers anymore we wouldn't have to be so careful about breakable things, but then we got a cat, which is worse than toddlers - toddlers don't jump up, walk along shelves, and knock things over up there. So if you have kids and/or pets, I would put it away in a cupboard or somewhere out of the way and protected when not using it.It's very light and feels kind of cheap for the price, but it works and is not too expensive, especially for what it does, so I'm glad we have it.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.
