I couldn't find the Avon brush type I had used for decades as it was discontinued. I chose the Stanley Commander. I a, thrilled. It is very sturdy and does get all the way to the scalp. I have used it on dry hair and wet and it's equally as good with both. I have shoulder length hair and it's as good or better than the Avon brush I have used for so long. Looking forward to a long relationship with this brush type!

This hairbrush is not gender exclusive, excellent for long or short hair. The bristles provide stimulating comfort to scalp. We do have an older Stanley that is still in excellent condition after over 25 years of use. It may seem a bit high $, the quality, durability & longevity makes it an inexpensive investment.

Stanley makes a great product. Just the right size and feel for my husband.

This is almost the exact same brush since I was a child. My mom bought it for my dad and he didnt like it so it became my brush since age 6. Although this one is plastic material , it still brushes the same. Had to get a new one after believe it or not 42 yrs going 43 yrs using this brand of brush. Let's see how long this one holds up for but I highly recommend it.

The bristles are very firm and move hair well, and removes debris like leaves, etc. The ends of the bristles are scratchy (which I happen to like).

Brush is great for heavy curly, long hair. Well made durable. Expensive though.

This is a great hairbrush. I had a Stanley Brush when I was a teenager. I lost the brush while moving. The Stanley brush was the greatest. My 66 birthday was on 11/24, and I bought another '' STANLEY Men's Commander Brush" this brush is still very well made. Thank you, Stanley brush for keeping Tradition.

I was after a brush with stiffer bristles than normal brushes and this suits
