Best Aroid Mix!
I recently purchased Molly's Aroid Mix, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! As an avid plant enthusiast, I've tried various potting mixes for my aroids, but this one stands out for several reasons.First and foremost, the drainage is excellent. This mix allows for proper airflow while retaining just the right amount of moisture, making it nearly impossible to overwater my plants. As a beginner, this has been a huge relief! My Monstera, Hoya, and Syngonium are thriving, and I’ve noticed a significant boost in root growth since I switched to this mix. The mycorrhizae fungi in the blend seem to be working wonders, as my aroids have developed a robust root system in no time. While the 10-quart bag is a bit on the pricier side compared to other options, I believe it's worth every penny for the quality and results. Overall, I would rate Molly's Aroid Mix a solid 10/10. If you're looking for a reliable mix that supports healthy plant growth, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

My Favorite Substrate
My Mom recommended this to me (she also gifted me all of my plants, I wouldn’t have ever thought to buy them myself tbh, but now it’s a minor hobby of mine while at home). This stuff is really versatile, and can be used for a huge range of plants (especially if you combine it with other materials), although it is best for tropical plants that need aerated substrate but also need to be able to retain SOME water and be soil-like still (as opposed to pure orchid bark, moss or similar stuff). It’s very aerated and hard to over water; it drains well.I had a money tree that was dying of root rot back when I didn’t know what I was doing, and I repotted it with this soil and the tree came back a within a week or two. I probably won’t ever use a different mix for my monstera albo or money trees, I like this stuff. It looks and behaves like a chunky soil, so it’s easy to repot with (the plant won’t fall over when it’s dry like with orchid bark, for example). I’ve also checked my pH on my monstera with this and it’s neutral to slightly acidic, so it’s good to go.Like I said though, it somewhat resembles normal soil (albeit much chunkier) so when you use it, it will make a mess and get things dirty as opposed to orchid bark or something. So plan accordingly when replanting inside or whatever.Good stuff and very good value for the price IMO.

Anthurium Approved
I cannot say enough good things about Molly’s Aroid Mix! Ever since I started using it, my anthuriums have been absolutely thriving. The mix is perfectly airy, well-draining, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients that my plants love. I noticed almost immediately that my anthuriums looked healthier, with new growth popping up much faster than before.I’ve tried a lot of different soil blends in the past, but nothing has compared to the results I’m seeing with Molly’s. It holds just the right amount of moisture without ever becoming soggy, which is exactly what my aroids need. You can tell this mix was made by someone who really understands the needs of tropical plants. If you're serious about keeping your anthuriums (or any aroids) happy and thriving, I couldn’t recommend Molly’s Aroid Mix more!

Best "Soil" Ever!
Love this Aroid Mix. I am probably on my 6-7th bag of this stuff. I have slowly been repotting all of my plants into this "soil". It is amazing. I have tried several others and have not been impressed like I have with this. THe drainage is insane and I feel like any plant I have planted in it is thriving!

So far so good
My plants have been doing well in this aroid mix. I have been hesitant going soilless but so far so good! I like how chunky it is and how it retains moisture. There have been bits and pieces of big pieces in the bag but I was able to break or un-clump them apart to fit in the plant pots. This is definitely on the pricer side, but I'd rather pay the price than try and sit to make my own planter mix. Convenient to just order a bag of premade mix and pull from there. It's only been a few weeks and nothing has died so far. I think the mix is pretty equal in terms of the ingredients in there. I do plan to give it more time and see how my plants will do but so far I can't complain.

A good succulent mix
This stuff is really gritty and I think it is perfect for succulents like lithops. I top dressed mine with black lava rock as it helps fill in some of the gaps you get with this stuff. At times I found myself digging around for smaller pieces at the bottom of the supply bowl. I've tried their aroid mix with great result so I wanted to get a bag of this stuff. Unfortunately, they just do not have the 5qt bags so had to order two 3 qt bags which was kind of silly expensive (knocking a star off for that). They just canceled my first order days after placing it and I was forced to buy two 3qt bags for a batch of plants that was coming in, thanks a lot! Really, it's a nice mix and great for your lithops as you can water them a little here and there without worrying if they are going to explode because it dries in about 1-2 days. I plan to pick up some more of this stuff, but it is also kind of expensive for being a bag of mixed rocks.
