I have purchased this item 22 times for my cats. I don't understand the bad ratings. I do use other supplements with this product. It has helped my pets considerably. Sometimes, the cat's kidneys may too far, but it has helped two of my cats live until 18 years of age. Again, I do use other supplements along with what the vet recommends. I will still stick with this product, as i know it does help.

I've used this for years for my cat and it has been great, just sometimes looks very different (color and texture). Most recent package was sealed without a scoop and it is not a returnable item.

I’ve bought this for one of my cats and it did wonders for her. I bought this product again for my male cat in hopes that it will help his kidneys like it did for my female cat. The only thing that I have an issue with is supposed to come with a scoop this container did not come with a scoop luckily on the instruction it says about 1 teaspoon so I’m able to figure it out.

This works for my yorkie with lymes nephritis. It helps with inflammation and stops the blood in the urine. I also use Epakitin in conjunction with it. That suppresses the leaking of protein immensely. Overall he’s doing wonderfully. Going on 4 yrs with no issues. Update 7-5-26. The last two tubs were different from the previous ones. My dog doesn’t care for the taste and it is clumping and going solid. May have to change to something else. Very disappointed.

I was so excited to try the unflavored version of this . I tried giving the old version that was a strong bacon flavor and smell to my cat and he would refuse to eat anything with it. I have tried giving this new version over the course of a couple of weeks, starting out small and slowly increasing the dose. It is thick, I can't imagine mixing a whole scoop into one dish of food for him. This did not seem to help at all. Coincidence or not, he has had a much more difficult time with constipation lately as well as more nausea and of course not eating as much. He was also having days where his phosphorus must have been really high. I just dont think this helped at all. I don't know for certain that it made anything worse but when I stopped and went back to just using Proviable he seems to be more regular again and thus feeling all around a little better. I'm not sure I trust that the ingredients are what the jar says. Furthermore this is not eligible for returns which I thought the Prime logo meant 30 day returns. Apparently I didn't read all of the details. Hopefully this helps someone who missed that part.

My dog (Shiba Inu) who is now 15 years old, had elevated kidney levels for a few years... especially her SDMA and Creatine...I put her on this powder for one container and didn't realize that her values were getting better until a couple years later when I asked my vet office for a copy of her blood test results. I looked back and her kidney values when she was on it and it actually dropped. I put her back on it, and her values became back to normal levels. She was not diagnosed with kidney disease just yet...but my vet was concerned that it was nearing that way. So, don't wait until your dog's kidney become so bad that it might not have enough time to reverse (or basically detox)...this product seemed to help her kidney values while elevated. I have her on this product as well as other non-related supplements. She has mild dog dementia which is a different story and her story is not over yet...partly thanks to this powder. Also, get a different pre,post,pro-biotic for your dog to help aid food digestion to further supplement this supplement...especially a postbiotic...that also really helped added with high quality food.
