Stephanie's Ponytail (Munsch for Kids) Paperback – Picture Book, 13 Jun. 1996

I just adore Robert Munsch!I recommend this book to anyone who knows a strong willed little one or maybe a little one that needs to toughen up a bit and not follow so much Or for any kid really.Lots of fun but if you don't like words like "ugly" or "brainless" being used this is not a choice for you.

I chose this because it was a very good book with a meaning but it used the same grammar again and again

I like this as a story of celebrating individuality - which it does in a memorable & entertaining way - however, I'm not so keen on the unrealistic view it gives of bullying in which the main character is being tormented by bein called 'ugly' one minute & then copied by the same people the next. It could also do with highlighting more about where she finds her strength from as she just seems to ignore the comments & keep going back for more, which most kids would not relate to in my view

"It's my ponytail and I like it"Self-esteem builder, great for kids starting school and their first introduction to peer pressure. We just crack up with everything Munsch writes, this one is our favorite.

Only reservation of this product was the american version of the English language which I had to change when reading to the children and the mom rather than either her mum or Stephanie's mum made it not quite flow.

My 5 year old daughter loves this book and asks for it repeatedly. Great illustration, easy to read and best of all laugh out loud funny.

Bought this book for my 5 year old Grandaughter and she loves it. There is a good message in it about bullying too.Illustrations are excellent and I highly recommend this book.

Just what we wanted to use as support material for our early years topic. Very user friendly. Children enjoyed it and used it as a self selection option.
