I ordered about 100 pounds of bean bag filler, and this was by far the best of the best! These pieces of foam were just the right size to easily control when cutting the corner of the bag off and getting every last piece of foam n to into the beanbag chair. After using many of these bags and finishing up my beanbag chair, I am super exciting. I have slept in that chair every single night since I got it set up. My Huband is starting to wonder why i am spending so much time in that chair and I keep wanting to tell him I am spending the rest of my life in it! All I can say about the chair is it is important to find the right cover fits, and then order the foam pieces for filling. Don't order 100 pounds at once, start out with 50, and work your way up. Keep adding 25 or 5 pounds at a time until you are perfect. JUST REMEMBER if you have a bean ack that isn't fully filled, and you lay in it with a child or pet you take a chance of suffocating the. So, you sant to make your you are right there and have plenty of space and strength to get out of the chair. Made a big floor pillow with this a few years ago and still going strong.

Up until using this, I've always used the little polystyrene balls to refill beanbags. These are easier and nicer to use, and feel good to sit on in the finished beanbag. The shreds were almost glued together by the compression and I had to pull them apart, sort of like making pulled pork. It took a few hours for the shreds to "re inflate" and there was some chemical smell initially (which made me dock a star.). The smell did dissipate over time, but had I known I would have opened, shredded, and aired the shreds outside for a few days before filling. But unlike the styrofoam beads, these didn't static themselves to everything or wander off at the slightest puff of air; I didn't find them in the corners of the room weeks later. I think they will hold up longer than the styrofoam beads that need refilling every year!

Great stuff for my 200lb bean avg. so comfy would buy more. Stuff should be cheaper but still a good deal. Can’t find much cheaper any where else

We were able to fill 3 beanbags. 2 of them small and one medium sized. I had to let them come to full size first then place them inside the beanbag

I ordered this 5 lb bag of KOURILAND shredded memory foam on June 25, 2025, and I’ve been super happy with the quality! The foam is soft, springy, and comes in fun blue, green, and yellow colors. I used it to refill a sagging bean bag chair and some dog beds, and it brought everything back to life without any weird smells or clumping. It’s vacuum-packed, which made it easy to store until I was ready to use it. Once opened, it fluffed up nicely. I also appreciate that it’s memory foam, not just generic polyfill—it gives better support and holds shape longer. Highly recommend for crafts, stuffed animals, cushions, or pet beds. I’ll definitely be buying the 10 lb bag next time!

I bought this cuz it said safer chemicals. Form stinks.

Filled our bean bag chair perfectly. I prefer these foam pieces to the little styrofoam balls that were originally in the chair, as the styrofoam stuck to everything so it’s was much easier to use. We used as a top up to where it was sinking so we still have some left that will last us awhile.

Terrible. Fills the whole beanbag with air. Like its hard to explain but the bean bag doesn't feel or look the way a beanbag should. Go back to your normal Styrofoam filling, it's the best, this isn't worth it. And I think it smelled weird too

I am new to amigurami crochet -- this inexpensive memory foam offers a good option for a beginner. On my first try I made a large snail done with half doubles and as the memory foam colours showed through I stuffed the foam into some cross-stitch fabric to act as a kind of lining. My second item is done with single crochet, and the memory foam colours don't show through as much, but I'm sure part of it has to do with the type of yarn I used (acrylic/cotton for the snail, pure cotton for the second item). There is a lot of foam here, so I have a lot to play around with so as a beginner, I def won't run out of it for quite awhile!
