TL;DR: Outlet is beefy, well-made, and versatile! I've had an issue on my 97 TJ for 3 years now where the 800+ cca battery will lose a charge after the jeep is not being used for more than 3 days, cold weather worsens it. And as an electrical engineer, I've done my due diligence to find the issue, but nothing seems to solve the problem. Even with installing a new fuse & relay box for aftermarket add-ons, updating wiring and cleaning up custom harnesses for existing OEM components, adding new 2 awg leads to the OEM power distribution block, alternator, and starter, redoing grounds, and adding a winch cutoff switch... didn't do the dang trick. So I got this outlet and a NOCO genius 2D to solve the issue. It's a clean and straightforward install. But the takeaway is that this setup will hopefully remedy the problem!

Good block heater plug outlet for Duramax
Screws to attach outlet kinda suck so I used my own I had on hand. Cord was too short to install where I wanted to but just made it longer with part of an old extension cord.
