I'd wanted a better way to store my favorite knee-high leather boots so they would stay in good condition, and so far, The Boot Hanger is doing exactly what it is supposed to do :) I am using the technique other reviewers have mentioned where you clip the inside edges of the boots together with both clips to protect the finish on the exterior of the leather and provide more grip and stability. It seems to be working well, and is exactly what I needed. No more digging in my closet or armoire to figure out where the boots ended up, and no more worries about damage from prolonged folds :) The price is worth the peace of mind, especially for someone like me who enjoys organizing things and keeping them neat.

These are great for getting your boots up off the floor and out of the way during spring and summer. I recently cleaned out my closet and reorganized. These serve the purpose and seem sturdy.

These are exactly what I wanted to help organize my closet. I have not had any problems with the boots being damaged or falling off the hangers. They are off the floor and where I can see what I have. I anticipate ordering more.

My wife bought these for our front closet. I couldn't be more happy - the nice expensive boots are no longer in a heap on the floor, mangled with other footware, but are instead hung up nicely alongside the coats. And since they are now easily accessible and visible, she wears them a lot more often (which is also a bonus, as she looks totally hot in them). Also, she reports that they hold her boots nicely and don't harm them at all.

This looked like a great idea but the boots don't hold very well. THey fall off the clips easily.

The idea of these boot hangers is a winner. Bought 4 sets. They work well on light weight boots but still have a tendency to slip off and leave marks even with this improved version. They don't work on my cowboy boots. I ended up keeping them anyway. I try not to move things around so much to prevent the boots from falling off. As for my cowboy boots, I ended up taking the clips off and hooked the pull on tabs instead; for this I could have went to the hardware store instead and paid a lot less. I think that the packing is overdone and less is more; specifically to reduce the cost.

I used these hangers for two pairs of boots in my closet. The hangers are sturdy, and help me utilize space more efficiently in my closet. And yes, those are cut up pool noodles in my boots, to help hold the shape of the boots.

Somehow quite a few people have had positive experience with these, or at least there are quite a few positive reviews. Interesting. But anyway, these things don't hold my boots. All I have to do is barely touch an item on the same rod as these, and they fall off. I do have a pair of short canvas-like boots that seem to work just fine, but the majority of my boots are leather or suede and these will not hold them.

Great quality and works brilliantly - would recommend. Worth the money.

Delighted with the hangers. Unfortunately hadn't costed in for import tax and ended up paying another £19. If I had paid it up front would have saved the £8 for the post office involvement.
