Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - PlayStation 5

A phenomenal sequel to a great game. This has quickly become one of my favorite franchises of all time. It’s so immersive and entertaining from start to finish. The realistic combat is somehow more engaging. Excellent work from Warhorse Studios!

As someone who has played a ton of RPGs over the years, this is one of the best I have played since Skyrim. The only thing I was worried about going in was the perception that the difficulty would be too hard and cause me to quit. I can honestly say the difficulty is challenging, but in no way close to a souls like game. For anyone on the fence, the difficulty is very much on par with red dead redemption 2. I compare it more to Skyrim though as it becomes, at least for the first 30 hours, the most engrossing game since Skyrim. Don’t hesitate, all positives, no negatives for this game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an absolute masterpiece. As a casual gamer, I found myself completely immersed, clocking around 150 hours to finish all the main and side quests. The game’s dedication to realism is unlike anything I’ve played before—whether it’s the combat, dialogue, or world-building, everything feels grounded and intentional. What really stood out to me was how that realism extended beyond just combat or visuals—it captured the real struggles people faced during that time period. Whether it was being sent to the pillory for a crime or starving due to a lack of food, the game doesn’t hold back. Without going into spoilers, it truly makes you feel like you’re living in that world. Combat can feel clunky and frustrating at times, but it’s refreshingly different from the usual hack-and-slash. Every fight demands strategy and patience, forcing you to think tactically rather than button-mash your way through. That level of depth is rare and rewarding. There’s a staggering amount of content to explore, and it took me a while to fully grasp just how real and layered this game is. While bugs do pop up and can be frustrating, they don’t ruin the experience. If you’re looking for a medieval RPG that values immersion and authenticity over flash, KCD2 is a must-play.

After more than 100 hours playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, I just can’t put it down. The game grabbed me right away and continues to be a constant source of enjoyment. It’s not as hardcore as I initially feared—it was a bit challenging at the start, but that made the journey all the more rewarding. In my little world within the game, I’ve lived the life of a grand thief and a great sword knight, exploring all the possibilities and stories it offers. The rich gameplay and immersive world keep drawing me back again and again. If looking for a deep medieval RPG that lets you shape your own story, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is definitely worth many hours of playtime and discovery.

Game is awesome and immersive, not for everyone but great for those who like history and rpg. The box was a little damaged though

I purchased this game to get my fix for a plot driven open world RPG, and have not played the original game. Warning, do not go into this expecting a new version of Skyrim as all of the mechanics (combat, potion making, lockpicking, etc.) have a pretty steep learning curve. Truth be told, this is a difficult game, but once you get the hang of it, it is very fun. Honestly, I almost gave up on the game, before everything began to click. How about the plot? So far it is quite intriguing, you start off with practically nothing and have to be build yourself up. The main character, Henry, is a good character to play as and he is a very malleable to different play styles. All the NPCs also seem to be intriguing as well. In closing I would definitely recommend this to someone who is willing to put some work into it.

Was never interested in this period of history, plus this game feels impossible for the first couple hours. Stuck with it and it’ll pay off

This is honestly the best game I have ever played. If you like medieval games or historical RPGs, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is top tier. The world, atmosphere, detail, and overall quality are excellent, and it feels unique compared to most other games. It is helpful to have played the first game, but I would not say it is required. I had enough context from watching some YouTube videos about the story and was still able to get into it without issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this. There is a lot of uniqueness, quality, and care put into the game, and it really stands out.

Bought for a Christmas present, my grandson loved it
