This pet food and water bowl set exceeded my expectations in every way! I love that it comes with different size bowl options—two shallow and two deeper ones—so it’s perfect for customizing based on your pet’s needs. We originally switched to this set to get away from porcelain bowls since the kids kept breaking them, and I’m so glad we did. The material and style of these bowls are excellent! The biggest bonus is the high-quality wooden base. Not only does it look beautiful, but it’s water-resistant so it won’t get ruined by spills. The setup was quick and easy, and the slip-resistant pads are perfect for keeping everything in place on our hardwood floors. The bowls are simple to remove for refilling and cleaning, which makes them super convenient. This set is functional for both cats and dogs, stylish, and very durable. All around, a fantastic purchase—highly recommend!

UPDATED REVIEW: I originally received an earlier edition of this product, in which there were only 1.5 cup bowls. As my dog is a grazer and we put 2 cups of food in his food bowl, I was disappointed by what I felt was a misleading product description. I contacted Pawfect Pets, who were lovely and responsive. They explained the understandable issue of me receiving an earlier edition of the product, and sent two 2.5 cup bowls to me via priority shipping. The elevated pet feeder is now set up in my kitchen and both my dog and I my love it! It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye without being flashy; the bamboo structure is well constructed and sturdy. I originally looked at the metal frame feeders, but am very happy that I went with this feeder due to both look and spill-protection. My dog is a somewhat messy drinker (I had no idea the extent of this until there is no longer water all around his bowl) and the feeder's rim around the bowl has stopped the water from getting on the floor. I highly recommend this product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: [I apologize for it being a little rant-y] After looking at many different elevated water bowls for my dogs, the deciding factor for me choosing this elevated dog feeder was that despite being relatively small and inconspicuous, it came with bowls 2.5" deep. ("The four included bowls hold 1.5 cups and 2.5 cups which measure 1.5” and 2.5" deep respectively. Bowls can be interchanged for ones of your choosing as long as the inside diameter is 5.25" or less.") However, all 4 bowls I received were the same size. Yes, I could buy two additional dog bowls, but at that point the product would no longer be cost efficient. The part of me that is annoyed at the misinformation, especially given that the stated depth was one of the deciding factors for me choosing this dog bowl feeding over others, wants to give this product 1 star. I ultimately gave this product 2 stars in the interest of fairness. The elevated feeder itself is not tacky at all (versus some other elevated feeders online) and appears to be well-made. I cannot speak to the quality of the feeder over time, but if I did not need deeper bowls I would keep it.

I purchased this for my sister's household. They have a senior-aged kitty who was frequently vomiting despite having no illness. I am hoping these elevated food and water bowls will alleviate the old girl's tummy trouble! This feeder's design is simple yet modern, quite aesthetically pleasing and complementary to my sister's home decor. My sister prefers stainless steel bowls over ceramic, so she was quite excited to see both a set of shallow bowls and deep bowls included in the box. I compared this feeder to a competitor's model that features tilted stainless steel bowls and swiftly realized their disadvantage: those tilted bowls have to be locked in or screwed in to a base or else they shift around or dislodge completely when the animal eats. This feeder doesn't require two hands or any special movements to place or remove the bowls. To remove a bowl, you can pop a fingernail underneath the rim of the bowl, or alternately you can push a bowl up through the hole in the feeder by lifting up the bowl's bottom with your hand. I'm always looking for ways to make everyday tasks as quick and easy as possible, and this feeder couldn't make it any easier to place or remove the bowls. I'm curious to see how the wood stain handles weeks and months of use, especially given that bits of food and rogue drops of water aren't always going to be immediately wiped away. Previous reviews indicate that the manufacturer had updated or adjusted the stain to reduce or prevent mold accumulation, although I would still think any wood or wood-like surface should be kept as clean and dry as possible. The feeder is equipped with large screwed-in rubberized feet that hold the unit very steady on a hard floor. Each bowl hole has several pre-installed low-profile bumpers that eliminate any movement of the bowl while kitty is chowing down, but extra bumpers came included on a little card, which is quite nice! Even though she's only a few days into this new elevated bowl experiment, sister's kitty seems to like, and even enjoy, her new feeder. Kitty doesn't have to lower her head below shoulder height when she eats or drinks, and that's exactly what I wanted for her when I chose this particular feeder.

I'm extremely fond of this product. I think it looks very nice aesthetically while also serving its purpose. I was really pleased that this product came with a set of replacement bowls,so I can pop two in the dishwasher and have two in use. One thing I have a small issue with, is there's no easy way to 'drop' the bowls into the holder when they're full. You either have to pour water directly into the bowl or risk spilling some as you settle the bowl into the hole. On the bright side though, the wood has been holding up great to not only my spills but to any mess my cat makes. I haven't seen any sign of damage or warping due to contact with water. I'd definitely purchase another when we get a second pet.

Tripod cat approves! I received it today and served my cat dinner and water. At first, she was unsure about the whole apparatus. So I put the food bowl on the floor, and once she started eating (like she hadn't had food in years...), she followed the bowl as I was moving it back into the hole. She finished her dinner and drank as if it had been there all along. The feeder comes with 2 sets of 2 bows (one deeper and one shorter). It is pretty convenient to clean the bowls quietly and the cat goes at its food / water. The bowls are wide so the whiskers don't hit the edge. My cat used to drink with her paw and make a mess all over the place (sometimes she would eat too with her paw) but she can't do that anymore. The deeper bowl is quite big for a cat so I filled it up to the top with water. I change water twice a day minimum so it wont sit there too long anyways. I think the deeper bowl would b ideal for a small to medium sized dog food. For the pet parent, the feeder is nice looking and sturdy, much better than my previous bowls. I'm pretty happy with this item, well worth the purchase compared to other elevated feeder out there.

I don't leave reviews often but felt compelled to leave a review for this item. This is EXACTLY what we needed for our senior Pug. We purchased the small 4" set. She is slowly losing use of her back legs so she falls over and takes her food or water bowl with her. This keeps everything in one place and even if the water splashes, the stand is made of bamboo so not an issue. It is almost impossible to knock this over due to the design and the weight. This is also a great height for when she eventually will not be able to stand and needs to not have to strain to reach her food and water. . We are so impressed with the quality of this item and love that you get two sets of bowls! I've seen some reviews that critized the quality of this product, and that made me a bit hesitant to buy. I was also a bit concerned about the height: I wasn't sure if the small would be too small and I believe the medium was sold out so it was that or large. We have a pug x terrier and went with the small which is just shy of 4" tall. The quality is perfect, wood is smooth and sealed and every edge is straight and flush. I love that it comes with 4 bowls and that they are 2 sizes. We use the smaller bowl for his food (will easily hold a cup of food without spilling over) and the large for water. We change his water 2-3 times a day because he usually gets food in it, so the size is just fine. It probably wouldn't hold enough water to last a thirsty dog all day especially on a hot day. It is the perfect size for a cat too and I often see ours stealing the dog's food and drinking from the water bowl! The only drawback I'd say is that is very smooth, so if you bump it with your foot water is going to splash everywhere! Easily fixed with some little grippy feet though. We've had this for a few weeks now and I've had no issues with mold or anything like that. I'd definitely recommend buying this product.
