I've had other epliators and this is by far the best. I've only used it on my legs. It grabs the tiny, fine hairs for a lovely smooth finish. I'm probably used to using one but this was virtually pain-free. If you do feel pain, stick with it, it does get better and always stretch your skin. It's definitely more gentle than my previous model. Price-wise. Its probably more than I wanted to spend on one, but to be able to do my legs at home, and be smooth for weeks, rather than days when shaving or salon visits. It will pay for itself in the long term I would definitely recommend this one to family and friends

So I’m not going to lie. This does hurt, but only initially. I have now done all areas and the worst has been arm pits. However I’ve worked out the more you stretch your skin the less it hurts. The best bit is that after the first initial pain it slightly numbs. But the next time you use the epilator it definitely doesn’t hurt as much. I’ve now been using for about a month and I’ve followed instructions and watched a lot of YouTube videos. And I can now honestly say I use once a week with very little pain. Best thing I’ve ever invested in! I have fast hair growth and was spending a lot of money on razors. Laser also wasn’t an option since I have ginger hair. What I love is the versatility of it. Use it in the shower wet or dry. The head pivot definitely helps with easiness of use and making it less painful. I love the auto function for speed as it seems to know how quick you are moving. The light is also very helpful in illuminating any stray hairs which I might not have otherwise seen, especially as some of my hair is quite fair. Yes it’s a bit pricey but I see it as an investment and saving me money on shaving in the long term. It also seems very well built and not at all flimsy.

I’ve had a Philips epilator for many years which stopped charging some time ago. I decided not to replace it because it was painless and massively time consuming as it wouldn’t pick up small hairs on the first few goes. However I now have ME and it’s exhausting shaving constantly so I decided to give this epilator a go based on previous reviews. What can I say?? It’s amazing! Gone are the days of massively painful epilating. My legs were done in no time, meaning I had some energy left to see if I could bear my underarms being done. I once had them waxed and I tried epilating at home once too but gave up because the pain was IMMENSE! I thought I’d have to give up after one go. Pop it on the lower speed and it’s perfectly bearable. I now have silky smooth underarms for the first time in thirty years!!! No missed hairs left, no dark shadows from shaving (I have very dark hair). I’m actually in awe of this epilator. Thank you Braun. You’ve just made my life a whole lot easier. I’m now going to bite the bullet and buy the facial set (with the rotating cleaning facial brush etc as my perimenopausal skin is horrendous for the first time in my life.) Thoroughly recommend. If my teen girls ask for an epilators, it will be this one that I buy as it’s gentle on the slower setting and will be an easy entry point for epilating. It’s totally worth the price and investment.

My girlfriend like it and said it's way better than the chinese one she previously bought. However, I honestly don't understand why it is so expensive, I tried on myself and it hurts, a lot, and it doesn't pull all the hairs easily.

Many attributes. It is brilliant on this 70 year old skin. A rarity. Our skin gets baggy. This machine knows. Yes you need to make taut the baggy bits, some of it, but it glides, if you have a seniro I forgot moment, beautifully. It has washable heads. A huge bonus. I use it dry. I always put talc on the area I’m going to exfoliate. Afterwards I use Witch Hazel (without alcohol), and then Aloe vera. I follow exfoliation prep, and do that daily, after, to help prevent ingrown hair. It is contour friendly. No scratchy edges leaving scratches. No skin pinches leaving bruises. This one, I feel more a tug, than a, ‘what sadist made this thing!?’ It is more effective than any other such product. I have used epilators for decades. After a while I either got braver, able to relax brace myself, or built some tolerance to the yikes that bloody hurts. It easily beats waxing. This beauty is easy to hold, light, not clumpy. Has a case which fits all its parts. There’s more, feel a tug rather than an assault on my skin. A few upper lip stings. Under arm tugs. Legs, tugs. I haven’t braved my panty line yet. I find it so much more hygienic having no under arm hair, and hoping to build bravery and go to tackle the lady parts. Rather than use the included razor which is very kind too, for the panty line. Might well edit update this if I do. I am so glad I invested the amount it cost. Saves a fortune in getting waxed. Not even a smidgeon of the agony that results in. If you have the money, I strongly recommend this. It was on sale when I bought mine. Best of all, it has no toxins to flush away down the sink, like the creams people sell.👍

Excellent epilator, upgraded my old silk epil. This is a lot more comfortable & faster to use. It glides beautifully & will help keep me hair free with less effort. Absolutely love it. 😁

Fantastic piece of kit. Love it, works in the shower as well as dry. The massage tool is really good too. I had a cheaper one but this is totally worth the money.

I rarely used mine just for underarms and tidy my bikini line as i get my legs waxed. I bought it a year ago and had to send it back for repair as the head stopped turning. I recieved it back from repair and light use again no more the 5-10 uses and it developed the same fault so asked for a refund. I still have the old style braun silk epil 9 and that is still working so will stick to that.

Fantastico, arrivavo da un epilazione con Rasoio, avevo provato il silk epil tantissimi anni fa ed ero rimasta traumatizzata dal dolore ma ho voluto comunque provare il prodotto fidandomi delle recensioni positive, effettivamente gambe, braccia ed inguine è come non sentirlo, nelle ascelle è stato più fastidioso ma comunque sopportabile e ripassandolo a pelo corto diventa completamente indolore... Soldi ben spesi 🤩

Zu diesem Produkt muss ich eine Rezension schreiben, es ist mir ein Bedürfnis für alle Frauen (+ Männer). Ich epiliere schon lange mit meinem alten Braun Silk Epil 7. Dieser ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und deshalb meine Entscheidung, mir einen neuen Epilierer anzuschaffen. Ausschlaggebend war für mich die Form - er ist wirklich sehr handlich- Also ließ ich mich überraschen. Ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert. Der alte Silk epil war nicht sehr genau, langsam im Vergleich zum 9Flex Skin Spa und es dauerte sehr sehr lange bis ich beide Beine endlich epiliert hatte (2 Std musste ich fix einrechnen) Jetzt gerade habe ich wieder epiliert und bin so begeistert - sodass ich gleich diese Rezension schreiben musste. Der Silk epil 9 'Flex ist: + schnell + genau + schmerzfrei(er) - natürlich reißt er die Haare aus - natürlich spürt man das. Aber im Vergleich zu älteren Modellen, ist dieser Schmerz weitaus linder! Was ein supergutes Zeichen für ein gutes Gerät ist. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Gerät wirklich von Herzen sehr empfehlen, ich bin sehr begeistert. :) Ja, er ist teuer, aber allemal das Geld wert. Die Massagebürsten muss ich noch etwas austesten, aber ich denke, dass auch diese mich nicht enttäuschen werden. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein gutes Produkt gekauft. Bin überrascht und gehe nun freudig durchs Leben ;)
