The assembly guide was clear, and the setup was simple. The motor operates quietly with no noise. The desk securely holds my monitor and other items, and it raises and lowers steadily at a moderate speed, making it very reliable. Once assembled, the desk is extremely sturdy. Perfect for my work I have two monitors and I use the side part for my sewing that reduces. My stress is right there handy for me. I love the fact that I can bring it up and down. It was a little challenging to put together you'll need a couple of people to help you stand it up so it doesn't come apart, but once it stood up right, it is very sturdy and an excellent desk. First, it was packaged very well, and despite some damage to the box, the item was fine. I recommend watching the assembly video included on the product description page just to get a good overview of the steps involved (was able to find it on YouTube as well to watch on TV) but you'll still need the included instructs for fine detail. Regardless, I was able to assemble on my own without issue. Be careful if you use a power screwdriver not to over torque wood screws as I did manage to strip a couple out - however, because they use so many to attach the legs to the desk, this didn't affect usage. I was surprised how heavy the legs were, but this directly impacts how stable the table is. My wife and I can not believe how quiet it lowers and raises! Smooth and stable. As my wife is only 5'2" she has problems getting a desk that feels good to her and how she types - this desk allows her to have it where ever she likes and yet allow her to stand as well as remain seated. Saving her preferred height for both makes it easy to switch back and forth with the push of a single button. She's overjoyed, and that's all I need to be happy myself.
