It's extremely rare that I give out a 5 star review for a tech product of any kind, but I honestly, trying to nitpick these would be reaching. Like. My only gripe is I wish the little charging case had a small hole on it to loop a Keychain through for easier carrying. Beyond that, these are the best earbuds I've personally owned. Let me put it in perspective with a breakdown of the issues I've had with ear buds over the years: I have sensory issues and am extremely sensitive to pressure on my ears/head. I can't wear over ear headphones without getting headaches. Ear buds I can tolerate much better but I have spent over a decade trying to find an ear bud that didn't just start slipping out of my ear or that wouldn't make my ears sore over time. My ears canal isn't exceptionally tiny but my outer ear is quite small and most ear buds simply didn't work. They were the wrong shape or just too large to fit in the ear opening and stay put unless I crammed them into my ear canal. But that doesn't work long term. Inevitably, I had to push the earbud back into place. Back in the days of wired buds this was a tolerable inconvenience. I was fine with that. I rocked the first Gen Bluetooth Bose ear buds, the ones connected by a wire to each other, for a couple years and they were tolerable but still constantly popped out of my ears. When true wireless came out having to adjust and push ear buds back in my ears became an intolerable frustration. I was constantly tripping the touch controls no matter how careful I was, and when you have to push earbuds back into place ever 15 to 20 minutes and you're pausing your music or accidentally hanging up on a call, it makes the buds feel pointless to have. I've tried pixel buds, JBL, skull candy, beats, Sony, JLab, on and on and none of them ever fit right. They were all slipping out no matter what I did and they inevitable made my ears hurt within an hour of wear. These don't do that. I can run on the treadmill, clean my house, do yoga, dance around, act a fool and these buds stay in place comfortably for hours. If I do need to make a minor readjustment, the physical click button on the stem means I don't accidentally pause my music or audio book anymore, and when I need to, it's a reliable, easy single click on the stem to adjust the noise canceling or pause my audio. The fact that the button is a physical one and has a nice little click to it is so satisfying. I miss fiddly technology. Stuff with buttons and dials. In a world full of Everything is Touch Navigated Now, a single clickable button is such a nice return to form. The form factor of these buds is lightweight, comfortable, and for the first time ever I don't feel like I'm fighting my headphones. The next thing is sound quality. I am kind of picky about sound quality and clarity. These things sound amazing. The equalizer that you can use in the app makes tweaking them to exactly what I want so easy. On top of that, the ANC has its own adjustability to filter high, mid, or low frequency noise, as well as an adaptive setting to suit my needs for any environment. The transparency mode isn't full of that scratchy noise I have come to expect from earbuds. It's crisp and clear with a very subtly, soft white noise that is actually pretty great for when I just need to combat my tinnitus but stay aware of my kiddo running around. The app has a lot of great features, including a find my buds feature if you should lose track of one or both of them, and that's minor gripe number 2. It'd be great if there was a find my buds feature for the charging case itself in case I misplace the whole thing, but having some kind of device location at all is still nice and not a necessity, just a perk. These headphones charge quickly and I've honestly never been in a situation where the headphones have died on me when I've been using them. The battery life is solid I've used them with ANC on for 3 to 4 hours at a time. The app gives you a readout of the individual batter life of each headphone so you know at a glance when you're getting low, but I've yet to have them dip below 25% during heavy use. The case charges by usb c, which is nice. It charges pretty quickly, too. I liked these so much I bought a pair for my girlfriend who is equally sensitive and has had the same issues as I have with ear buds in the past. She lives in noise canceling buds to help her focus and avoid overstimulation and she too, agrees that these are so comfortable and fit so well that she forgets they're in sometimes. All in all, I've never had any issues with connectivity or sound quality, they sound great, fit great, have great features, and at under $100 they are a great deal. My Samsung buds cost twice that and I hated them. These are excellent. Absolutely recommend.

I literally never write reviews but I had to. Coming from an Apple loyalist..these are hands down the BEST EARBUDS I’VE EVER OWNED!! Biggest pro for me is the battery life, these things just will NOT die, I’ve had them for almost 2 months and I think I’ve had to charge the case one time!! Super easy set up and connection, works very similar yo the AirPods pairing process. Sound is GREAT!! They could get just a touch louder but honestly that’s likely due to my crappy hearing not the buds themselves. The app you use to control them is super easy to use with a very simple interface design. I really like that you have a lot of freedom in app to adjust all the sound settings and bass to your liking, something even Apple didn’t have. The case is nice and sleek and secure, I’ve dropped it on the ground and the pods do not go flying out like my AirPods did. For the price these are a steal, like the best bargain I’ve found in some time. I can’t say enough good things about these buds, GET THEM!!

I'm gonna give these 4 stars because yeah they work and I'm mostly happy with them. I can't give them 5 and don't wanna give them 3 because this is my first pair of headphones in this type. I got no other experience to compare it with. I've used wired and wireless on ear and over ear models. Had my fair share of wired buds too. Now the battery life don't seem to be what's claimed even with noise canceling off it's not awful. Connectivity is hit or miss. Connects perfectly to my android phone without a hitch but doesn't like Linux a bit. It might do better with windows I can't say. The app seems well designed and functional, you can operate them fully in the app without being forced to make an account. Otherwise I've had deleted it. Now the sound quality, again I've never owned wireless buds before but just in general I've heard better. Fair amount of bass at first not super bad. That stems from so many people liking hip-hop I guess. I do not. With a little tweaking there fine in that respect. Before I bought these I checked out a few YouTube creatures and one complaint stood out, the left bud seems to fall out a lot. This is true for me as well. I don't know how or why, it's the same size and weight as the other but it tends to fall out so much more then the others. Maybe packaging these with some good ear hair trimers might be an idea. The last thing I'll mention is the controls on the device. JANKY!! push this many times for this and that many times for that, nope. I find myself heading straight to the app for that.

The sound quality is very good, the noise cancellation works well, and they are comfortable to wear. Connection was quick and stable, and the battery life is also good. They feel well made and look great. Overall, a really good purchase and I’m satisfied with them.

Amazing earbuds...until they're not. I've bought two pairs of these in the last two years. When they're new, they're awesome. Great sound, comfortable, good app with a decent amount of sound settings. When they're on sale, they're best in their price range. Unfortunately both my sets of earbuds and their cases have had their issues. The first set of earbuds lost their ability to charge quickly or at all. I believe the case to have been the issue, but also the batteries on the earbuds went around 8-9 hours of listening without needing to be charged to around 6, then down to around 3. Eventually their maximum capacity dropped and the right earbud would get stuck at ~60%. The second set had it even worse. It lasted me almost 11 months but both the earbuds literally fell apart. Whatever glue they use to hold them together broke simultaneously and I had to hold them together with tape. The range also died, before I could walk all the way to the kitchen while my phone was in my room and it would be fine. At the end they could barely make it 5ft and would disconnect if anything got between me and my phone. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but two earbuds having serious failure with a year is ridiculous.

I waited a long time to review these because I had some issues with them when I first got them and wanted to see if those problems would go away. I ordered a pair and the right ear bud's gestures didn't work. I reached out to customer support and they arranged a replacement for me. I also found them quite uncomfortable, but I didn't test out the other ear pieces they provide in the box and just went with the ones that were already on there. After receiving my second pair, the gestures worked fine. They aren't the most comfortable earbuds for me but I wouldn't really blame the earbuds for that. The sound quality and noise cancellation is really impressive for the price point. They work seamlessly with my phone.

I got these on sale and they cost about the same as my Skullcandy Dime Evos. These blow my Evos out of the water in every aspect but size. The Evos just disappear in my ear which makes them perfect for wearing at work so i forgave their less than stellar sound. My Earfun Air Pro 4 + sound and little bit richer and louder than these but those are also larger and heavier making them less comfortable for long periods. Also, my hoodie would pause my Earfuns intermittently due to their touch controls. The Ear (a) is a good middle ground between these two as far as size, fit and comfort which is my main concern when i buy earbuds. The Nothing app also has an ear fit test procedure which works perfectly. Perform the test, adjust the buds in ear and repeat until it says you got it right. This made it so much easier to aim them in my ear properly which i always kinda struggle with. I like the controls. Takes a little practice to use them but i like them now. Hard to get false inputs once you get used to them. The Evos and Earfuns were both prone to false inputs. Transparency and Noise cancel both work great but those are also features i dont really care about. The EQ adjustments are minimal and almost disappointing but at least its there. The EQ on my Skullcandy Evos is better. The Nothing aesthetic is a vibe. I got the white ones and they look awesome. I thought they looked kinda gimmicky or something before i got them but when i opened the box I was impressed. They look and feel like a higher quality product than what i paid for. The case is kinda slippery though and i havent figured out how to open it with one hand yet. If you are even remotely considering these and you find them on sale just buy them. Even at regular price i would have bought them, but thats the same price as the Earfun and i think some people will like those more. Personally, i like these more. Update: i accidentally washed the case: it still works fine 🙏

The sound, look and comfort of these earbuds are truly amazing. They fit perfectly in my ear with minor moving (sweat, water from the shower etc) and yes I do wear them in the shower and they are just fine. The controls are MOSTLY easy to use and customizable which is nice but sometimes I’ll have to press it hard for it to register at all. I would give these a 5 star BUT the longevity IS AWFUL. I’ve had these 2 years and I used to use them all day everyday - at work, in class, at the gym and in the evening when I play games on my computer. Nowadays it won’t even last a couple hours without dying and that’s a fully charged case and earbuds. I am disappointed due to this fact because if it weren’t for the minor gripes and the degrade over the years I would think these were absolutely perfect.

Love the sound. I lost my Nothing earpiece and got this as a replacement. Will definitely recommend.

2 weeks in... Was very skeptical about buying these. Now I am no audiophile, but I do love music of all descriptions. I was tossing up very much between high end, high price tag headphones and the reviews were very mixed about these headphones. I am comparing these to previous buds Marshall Minor 3, Samsung Buds (original) and Sony XM3 buds. I have to say these probably exceed all of them. Very punchy bass, like surprisingly powerful for buds! It might be too much for some at standard settings but easily corrected in the EQ. I like the fact that if I want bass it's definitely an option. They look great, sounds great, App is really nice and refined and the price tag was great. The ANC is decent enough that at about 70-80% phone volume and ANC on high I can drown out my Gyms rubbish music which was important. Fit is comfortable, nice and light and have not had them pop out with vigorous runs on the treadmill. All in all I think it'd be hard to get better buds at this price

I dropped one of the earbuds in a boiling mop bucket with bleach. Too hot to retrieve, so they stayed in there until I dumped the water out. Dried them out on the window sill. They still work! Respect level up to 10.

Audio is fine. They have physical buttons. 10/10
