Creamy Coconut Soda, 12 fl oz cans, 12 Pack

When I read that Dr. Pepper was coming out with the first coconut-flavored soda, I was skeptical. Would it taste all chemical and artificial? Like suntan lotion in a can? Well, I'm here to say that this is actually pretty amazing, IMO. The smell and the flavor of the coconut isn't overpowering, to me. It blends with Dr. Pepper itself smoothly, adding a little summery kick. I have tried both the regular and zero sugar variants, and I found the coconut flavor actually stronger in the zero version. The regular seems more low key, but everyone is different. Either way, I wish this would become a permanent option rather than just for the summer. But if that is not to be, I hope it does make a return next year! This one is too good to just release once and then forget about. I'm not much of a drinker, but I imagine this would also pair very well with summer cocktails, too! Definitely a 10/10, for me!

Great taste. Backordered, but worth the wait. 1 can dented and one can broke open. Amazon do better with packaging.

Really wish they'd make this commercially available again, its a good unique flavor.

This can still be considered a review since I had to resort to finding this from a different grocery store. Order this on Amazon and tracking indicated that it was delivered to my mailbox service. Check with the mailbox service several days later and it had never been received. You have no option about getting a refund on this item. Be warned about that. After not being able to get a refund for non-delivery even though tracking indicates it was delivered I decided to track it down and buy it from Fred Meyer. It kind of smells like suntan lotion and after the cola flavor you get a artificial coconut sensation. Not sure if this is good or not. After a few more sips I've decided not to buy this again. The smell of coconut suntan lotion that you get really takes away from the taste. Do not recommend this. Also do not recommend ordering this from Amazon. USPS misdelivered it and nobody wants to take responsibility for that so I lost 10 bucks.

I bought a 12-pack from my local grocery store and decided I liked it so much I would buy several more. When I got to the store they were no longer carrying it. My boyfriend also decided it was his favorite soda ever and looked everywhere for it as well. I found this offer and ordered 5 (12 packs). 2 of the 12-packs arrived safe and sound and on time. The other 3 were lost in transit, then located and I was told the package was damaged and being returned to sender. I see a lot of other reviews stating they received damaged packages or their cans were sticky. Great product, but the packages need to be handled with more care. Amazon notified me if I do not receive my missing 12-packs in 2 days I will receive a full refund.

A lot of soda companies are coming up with "exotic" flavors these days. Some are really good, like this Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut that had everyone saying, "bring on the rum!" ....and some not so good like the "fruity" flavor of one brand that tastes like cough medicine. I only gave this item 4 stars because some of the cans had "rounded" bottoms due to possible rough handling or pressure build-up, or whatever....
