The best bike for the price. Equipped with all Shimano 105 R 7000 components. Works great. Took only 30 minutes to assemble. Just get the front derailleurs fine tuned by some pro bike mechanic. Shifters work amazing. Very light weight. Mine also required some minor wheel truing. Spent about $50 on getting fine tuning done but was worth it. Amazon was super helpful in answering all the questions and concerns while making the decision to buy. Saddle is super comfortable. One last thing - if you are into serious bicycling you will have to replace original pedals with spd or spd-sl type pedals.

Love this bike! Sleek, fast and worth the price. I did get an open box and some things I had to take care of myself that you wouldn't otherwise have to deal with brand new but it made me a make shift bike mechanic and in the long run that's a good thing! The bike itself is stiff and a pleasure to ride. This is my first time on a true road bike and you'll have to get use to the ride but once you do you'll love it. I've already put over 300 miles on this bike. Only recommendation? Buy brand new and have a pro bike shop assemble it. These bikes need to be fine tuned.

I was actually never able to ride this bike. I paid a little over 900.00 for it-that money is a total loss. Originally I thought the problem was in the set-up. I took it to two different shops for a total of three adjustments. The bike would never change gears properly. I thought it was because of a bad rear derailleur. This past week I took it to yet another shop two hours from my home. (So far I have spent over two hundred dollars for mechanic work). The pro mechanic looked at my bike and said that he thought the Shimano 105 group set was fine. He looked over the bike carefully and stated that it was inferior. He told me the frame, wheels, hubs, and spokes was in his words "junk." He also stated that the problem could be in the cable, rear cog, or a bent derailleur hanger. He refused to take the bike as a trade, and was not interested in working on it. I have now purchased another road bike, and will pick it up next week. I began riding road bikes during my time in the Army in the mid eighties.

I bought this and have ridden it very little, but got it for the quality parts at a good price The rear derailleur blew up and had plastic parts I was told it isn’t a quality 105 part Buyer beware!

I highly recommend this road bike. I never owned a road bike before and the only other bike that I've owned is a hybrid commuter bike. I got interested in cycling in the summer of 2019 and started doing some research. I wanted something light, so a carbon fiber frame was a must. Most entry level carbon fiber bikes from the big brands (Specialized, Trek, Cannondale) are expensive, starting at around $2000, and I was hesitant to spend that much on my first road bike. When I found the Fastback Carbon 105, I was pleased with the price (I paid about $1450 on prime day) but also with the actual components (Shimano 105 drivetrain). I bought it in July 2019 and had my local bike shop put it together for me (just to be safe and make sure it was done properly). I now have about 1600 miles on it after 7 months and I am so glad that I made the purchase. The bike rides very smoothly and I have not had issues with any of the components. I use for rides ranging from 20 miles up to 90 miles and I always have a great time and a comfortable ride. I ride on flat terrain in Philadelphia but also on some hilly areas around the outskirts of the city. After having 1000 miles on it, I bought 50mm carbon fiber wheels from SuperTeam and Continental GrandPrix 5000 tires, which have made my rides faster, smoother and at the same time made my bike look even sleeker. I make sure to clean it well after each ride, especially now that it was carbon fiber wheels which are not as durable as the aluminum wheels it came with. In summary, if you are looking to get a carbon fiber road bike with great components and without having to spend $2000+, this bike is the way to go. As long as you have decent routes near your home, you will easily become addicted with cycling, get to to explore areas of your city you haven't yet, all while also getting a great work out.
