Works great

Truly disappointed with this purchase. I experienced several problems with this item in the less than two weeks I owned it. First, I had to push incredibly hard to get the headphones to fit into the dongle. Second, audio would intermittently stop playing only while using this dongle - for it to to work again I would have to unplug it, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. Third, the microphone on my headphones did not work during phone calls while using this dongle, a problem I've never had before or since. Finally, the part that fits into the iPhone itself broke off without any trauma and got stuck in the phone. I had to pull it out with tweezers. Crazy. Dramatically poor quality.

I bought this for my husband‘s iPhone 13 Pro Max and he really loves it. He doesn’t have to worry about buying AirPods. He can just get any headset and plug it in. Through the little adapter on the headphone and it works great.

Part of this may be my fault because I did not realize Apple had discontinued the headphone jack to lightning cable dongle/adapter in 2024, so I purchased this item accidentally thinking it was an official Apple product. Since I had lost my original wire headphones + dongle in my recent move, when I received this item in non-Apple packaging, I was desperate enough to have headphones so I decided to keep these. The sound quality is decent when listening to music or any audio, HOWEVER, I cannot use this adapter/dongle to place phone calls because the connection stops. It is COMPLETELY plugged in and connected, but the phone call audio emits from the phone, NOT the headphones. I am disappointed with this purchase, and may have to find real one on Ebay maybe. P.S. In case people wonder why I can’t just buy wire headphones with the lightning cable itself, I have an iPhone 14 Pro (no plans to change my phone soon), and I want the ability to connect to my phone and my laptop for convenience in case my bluetooth headphones die).

It appeared to be stepped on and not functional to plug in. Useless, however I took out my trusty hammer to bang it back and luckily it is working. Disappointed with the fact it was damaged and useless without my hammer. Thankful it is working even though a little fussy.

The one I received was defective. I plugged it in on both ends to my wired ear buds and then into my phone. I pulled up PANDORA to listen to music and sound came out of my phone. I retried plugging ends in..same result! I sent back.
