Best of the best
Favorite pick hands down I’ve been using this pick exclusively for the past 3 years. Of the picks I’ve tried over 18 years of playing guitar, this is the best one I’ve found so far. It’s very comfortable to hold. Its slightly larger than other picks. I can get a really good grip on it in the most aggressive playing. It glides over the strings really well because of the larger bevel on the edge. At 2mm thick this pick does not bend at all allowing incredibly precise movements when alternate picking/string skipping…and it lasts forever given it’s made of Ultex. The emblem is a sick design. It fades off within a couple weeks but that doesn’t bother me. Pick does what it’s supposed to. This is my top pick but second and third place go to the Master Control by Dava and the John Petrucci Flow by Dunlop which is a slightly smaller version of the Andy James Flow. Andy James you’re a beast of a guitar player and a great person. Thanks for the pick. Rock on 🤘🏼

Good Pick
Originally when I was over at NAMM and Dunlop's head of manufacturing gave me some of these to try, he asked me what I currently use and I said, "These look really good, but I've been using Dava ever since I saw Andy play with them a long time ago." I pulled out a nylon Dava jazz pick and he shook his head and walked away. I felt kind of bad and the picks he handed me sat in my room for about a year, but eventually I started using them just to see what qualities they had; these picks do something very interesting to the pick attack, they put a lot of squealy top end in your playing, especially when you pick hard (which I've heard Andy say he likes, hence the branding). I hate the feeling of holding a truck in my hands, it makes me feel stupid, but at the same time I found myself not trying as hard to play certain lines because there's so much material in the pick, it's hard to miss strings. These are definitely worth a try, I find myself picking them up more and more for certain things, particularly rhythm playing, because they enhance the swipe-ey sound the pick makes for chugging and stuff. They're not expensive, try them.

The BEST pick I've ever played with!
I've been searching for the perfect pick for a while now; experimenting with many different brands and thickness. This one is extremely comfortable to hold and provides surprisingly good grip. It is thick, yet sharp enough to provide excellent stability and accuracy. It is also smooth enough to glide across the strings nicely. This pick allows me to move effortlessly between lead playing, heavy rhythmic stuff and even strumming. One last note that I really can't overstate: It greatly improved the tone of my playing immediately! I'm excited about the smoothness/clarity of sustained notes, and the perfect amount of attack I can get if I really want to dig into something. It's actually creatively inspiring me, which I never thought a pick would do. I am really happy I got this pick!

Great picks
Awesome picks! I prefer these over the JP ones, although the difference isn't that big, these are a bit wider.

Lost a star for listing item as 6 pack, it's only 3
Andy James is a hero of mine, and I ran out of Jazz III XLs, so I decided to give this pick a try. I've been using the Jazz III XL for many many years, and no pick has taken it's place... Except this one. I thought the Jazz III was like using alternate picking cheat codes, but this is just ridiculously effortless and accurate. My only gripe, besides the quantity being incorrectly listed (listed as 6 pack, it's only 3), is with the Ultex. Yes, it's very durable and has a unique tone, but it's a bit clacky and sibilant on the high notes... Something I cherished about the nylon Jazz III was the smooth mellow tone while playing high notes, but this pick is much more aggressive. The rhythm tone is better than Jazz III; much crunchier. I am wondering if they make it in nylon, now...just for specific uses. This pick is also slightly larger than the Jazz III XL, which I like as I get a better grip. The geometry of the tips between this and the Jazz III appear identical, but the Andy James pick is thicker and has nicer rounding of the edges. There's no raised lettering like a Jazz III, and when my hands get sweaty, the Ultex does get pretty slick. It's very grippy when I'm not sweaty, though. Btw, the graphics wore off within about an hour of playing, but idrc. All in all, it's indubitably an upgrade from the Jazz III XL, which I used to think was the perfect pick for me, so this one is obviously very very nice.

Different, but I like it
I'm trying a number of chunckers like this one. Playing with it is a different experience than I'm used to. I'm still getting used to the 'slide' over the string instead of the traditional 'pluck'. I can't say if I'm totally sold. I certainly don't think I'm giving up thinner picks, especially for strumming, but there's something here. I like it. This definitely seems to be an easier way to get to, and to keep a fast alternate picking tempo. I've also tried the regular Dunlop Flow picks and, so far, I prefer the material that this one is made from. They do seem to be better suited to fast runs, especially trill picking... not the pick I'd grab if I wanted to vary my attack. Not my first choice for bluesier playing. I feel more detached from the strings when I'm playing with it. Still, it is what it is and it does that one particular thing very well.

Best Pick Ever
I am pretty picky about the picks I use. I was a fan of the Jazz Dunlap 3 (inspired by Petrucci) but they edges always wear out too fast. I'm a big fan of Andy James so I figured I'd give it a shot. It wasn't just a selling point by using his name. It's by far the best pick I've ever used. Good release and return, sweeps well, easy to grip, and hasn't worn out on me so no scraping.

Speed and Accuracy
I have spent a small fortune on guitar picks looking for "the one". I have found it with this model. Easy to hold, great sound, but the best aspect is the incredible and ease with which to create accurate speed! I can't describe it with words, but if you want a pick that makes playing fast or faster, then try this. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Excellent pick for the money
These are excellent picks. Very accurate and quick, and 2mm is a good thickness. Grip is quite good with a bright attack. These are more ‘standard’ size picks, so are great if you struggle with the smaller sizes, like the jazz picks. Not as comfortable to hold as the JTC Players picks (2.5mm, and smaller size) but definitely as good to use, at a far cheaper price. If you like bigger picks, go for these ones... JTC if you like smaller (but a lot more expensive)

Smooth as butter
Does exactly what its supposed to. Glides through the strings much easier than an average pick, perfect for arpeggios and shredding. Its a pack of 3 and it doesn't say that on the amazon page anywhere so I ended up with more than I needed (I bought 3 packs) but not really a problem since I'll be using them a lot
