Love the phone pouch. I use this to hold a spare phone battery, my phone, koozies and charger wires. The Velcro doesn't close across the whole bag but by folding it, that will help keep water out. I wouldn't submerge this bag in water but I highly doubt any water would get in if it were to get wet. Made out of good material as well. Happy with Purchase. I would have got another for the other side but it wouldn't fit my large bluetooth speaker so I went with a bottle holder instead.

Velco was a pain, but it worked for what we needed it for. Plus it came with a shoulder strap.

was excited to find a mid size dry bag for short kayaking trips. This one is exactly the right size for everything needed for a day trip. It will fit snacks, several drink bottles, a phone, keys, sunscreen and more. It has an adjustable strap and will fit easily in the kayak in front of my seat. I used an old cell phone and some paper for testing. I sealed the velcro, folded the top down, buckled and sinched the side straps and ran it under a bathtub faucet for a few minutes. I dried the outside and opened it up and the phone and papers inside were dry so I would say it passed with flying colors. I would not want to immerse it in water as I think some could seep in but it is perfect for what I need.
