Goiteia Polarized Clip On Sunglasses over Prescription Glasses - Flip-Up

Exactly what I needed.

Clip ons work as needed once attached. The problem is that the clip on attachment is very small and almost impossible to work one handed.

Compared to another brand, these appear to be better. With the other brand, the rubber tips on the clips leave a fudge mark on my eyeglasses, these do not. I wish these come with a rigid thin plastic case like the other brand. I prefer a thin rigid case over a flexible pouch (although the vinyl pouch is of high quality).

Great quality for Clinton’s and fit well. Very durable. Ordered a second pair.

Light weight and attractive Polaroid; good quality

I was impressed, this was an upgrade over my older clip on sunglasses. 1. great polarizing and greatly reducing glare 2. you can wear these outdoors "without" a hat, and the anti glare on the inside makes a big difference. When cleaning them, blast them with water, then use soap to remove any thing else. and carefully polish. The only con I can find, is that I have to remove my glasses to install them, else they always end up crooked on my face. So far scratch resistant and durable. I do wish it came with a hard case, I had to use an old hard case from old perscripton glasses to keep them from getting crushed in my car. A great price and a great product.

Doesn’t fit over cross bar on top of frame

I am prior military service and retired law enforcement. I know alot about sunglasses, glasses and contact lenses. These clip on's are really light weight and perfect for rimless glasses. They do shift around...so if you are active, don't get these. The sun protection is very good. I'm retired now so I don't need active wear so I'm good with these.

I don't usually do reviews, but ordered these (brown tint)to go over my very expensive prescription glasses and they came promptly in high quality packaging an d the glasses themselves are of very good quality and well made, they fit perfectly and also included a case, cleaning cloth and even spare rubber pads. They are so good that I immediately ordered a second pair in grey for variety's sake. Well done.

Hinweis: Achtung, nicht hochklappbar wie andere Modelle, das sollte einem bewusst sein Positiv: + leicht + unauffälliger Clipmechanismus (da nicht hochklappbar) Negativ: - Der Hebel für die Clip-On-Mechanik ist sehr klein, kaum zu öffnen, tut den Fingern weh - Sitzt sehr lose, verdreht sich leicht gegen die Brille darunter.

Ces clips ne sont absolument pas polarisé, je parle bien de polarisation et pas de photochromie comme certains commentaires négatif qui confondent, il existe des tests très simple pour savoir s'ils sont polarisé chercher sur internet. Ce sont juste deux bouts de plastique coloré extrêmement fin (je doute fortement de leurs indices de protection vu déjà les fausses allégations) et l'ensemble et très fragile, livré dans un étui souple sans aucune protection , j'ai eut de la chance qu'ils arrivent indemne. Les dimensions sont respectés, mais avec un décalage des plastiques vers le haut de quelques millimètres du a une mauvaise conception des clips qui devraient être coudés vers le haut pour rattraper le fait qu'ils sont placés un peu plus bas que le bord haut des plastiques. Bref cout de fabrication chinoise à 30centimes qui ne vaut pas plus de 2 euro.

First review 4/5 After reading many reviews I was worried about the sizing that is off and about the little screws that secure the lenses to the hinge that tend to scratch the frame and lenses. But I kept checking because I liked these clip ons. And I put my mind at ease once I prepared myself to deal with the 2 points below. 1. deciding on the size. The way the clip is designed it leaves a few mm of lense above the level of the hinge. Therefore if the top of your frame is flat along the middle then the few mm will extend above the frame risking running out of lense to cover the bottom part of your glasses/frame. In my frame the middle connecting part sits a few mm lower than the top of the frame so in my case the clip-ons where pretty much spot on. I bought the 60x40 classic style. I calculated it should cover my glasses and they did perfectly (they cover exactly top to bottom and are just slightly wider than the glasses surround but not wider than the widest part of the frame). 2. I covered the little screws that secure the clip on the lenses: I didn’t wait for them to scratch my frame/lense as some people have complained about, I covered them with tiny pieces of electrical tape. This however should have been addressed by the company as it is a common complaint. I find the big hinges of the flip-up models very obtrusive and an aesthetic faux pas. The hinge of the clip ons is easy to use and the whole design is quite minimalistic, very discreet. It looks and feels well made and matches the curvature of the glasses well. The box included a carrying pouch (blue) and cleaning tissue (green with gold) and the clip ons are brown so colourwise poor combination. But happy they are included. They are dark enough as I wanted and expected and the polarising effect works very well and seems well aligned (I mention this because in some cases it is not). Of course I cannot comment on the quality of the lens, scratch resistance, fogging, hinge strength. And they do change the colour. I used to wear some very high quality brown mineral Serengeti sunglasses (made in Japan) and I can’t remember affecting colour the way these are. Overall however I am very pleased with my purchase and I recommend them (just be careful with sizing). 2nd review 5/5 The previous item had a little accident that lead to its dismemberment and since I had been satisfied I ordered a new one. This is the latest version that maybe has a slightly weaker spring but addressed the 2 issues of the old version. - filtered at the back so that there is no blinding glare when sun is in your visual field - screws are covered to not scratch glassses/frame. Therefore 5/5.
