Can this be used in a jellyfish tank?

If your fish or whatever you have live in saltwater then yes it can be used.

Why do the pictures say all 25 gallons when i selected 50?

Im going to say that they just used the same stock photo for 10, 25, and 50 gallon packages rather than having to find 3 different pictures. If you ordered the 50 gallon, im sure you'll get the 50 gallon.

When is the expiration date?

I checked the box it came in and I don't see any expiration date on it. I see 142005 but that could just be the shipping people putting something on the box. I had a bad experience with this salt didn't think salt expired but maybe that is why I had trouble with it.

how is this different than instant ocean purple box?

Hi Jimmy Choo, Reef Crystals starts with Instant Ocean as the base salt but we add additional trace elements, calcium, magnesium, strontium, etc. to it for the corals. It also will chelate any heavy metals that are in your source water (assuming you are using tap water and not RO water, that is).
