ISC2 CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Official Study Guide & Practice Tests Bundle (Sybex Study Guide)

I recently used the ISC2 CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Official Study Guide & Practice Tests Bundle by Sybex to prepare for my CISSP exam, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The study guide provides an incredibly thorough breakdown of all eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). The content is well-organized, easy to follow, and full of practical examples that really helped me grasp some of the more complex topics. What I found most valuable were the practice tests. The questions were challenging and felt very similar to the actual exam. The detailed explanations for both correct and incorrect answers helped me identify gaps in my knowledge and understand why certain choices were better than others. It really boosted my confidence as exam day approached. I also appreciated the extra online resources, like flashcards and end-of-chapter quizzes, which were great for quick reviews. That said, it’s a dense book, and I think having some background in IT security or pairing it with other materials might be helpful for someone completely new to the field. Overall, this bundle was a game-changer for me. I passed my CISSP exam on the first try, and I credit a lot of my success to the clarity and depth of this guide. I highly recommend it to anyone aiming to earn their CISSP certification!

One of the go to study bundles for the cissp. When combined with the authors videos it is very thorough and prepares you for the exam.

Between this book and Destination Certification's CISSP Exam Study Guide, I passed the CISSP the first time with no stress at all. I was surprised at how prepared I was actually.

This is a great book. It has plenty of review questions at the end of each chapter.It's clear, it's concise.It's included was a separate book for testing only.It's a great purchase

I was excited to get my new 2024 ISC2 books. The Book has great content and will prepare me well for the testing I believe. The only thing I found compared to my other books I have from Sybex is that these white pages in the ISC2 2024 edition pick up a glare on them no matter what angle I try to read the page which makes it hard to read the words/fonts. It is slowing me down reading through the content. Not sure if it is just me but I thought I would mention it.

Excellent resource. I used this study guide, Mike Chapple's LinkedIn Learning course on CISSP (21hrs), and mock exams to pass the CISSP exam on my first attempt. I steadily increased my (new) mock exam scores over 8-10 weeks while learning the material that was new to me. Understanding the concepts behind the answers is more important than memorizing facts, and this resource was critical for that.

Even if I didn't take the CISSP which I will, I have already learned a lot and cemented my position as an administrator with the knowledge and skills in this book. Thank you Mr. Chapple!

I’m using this book to run a study group for 13 of my colleagues in InfoSec. We all are required to get our CISSP. The group has generally positive things to say about the book and one member always passed the exam! EDIT: I also passed my exam!

Tenho outros livros escritos por ele e considero os melhores. 2. Material dos livros O guia oficial é feito em papel brilhoso, que considero bem mais resistente que o papel comum. Entretanto, não é bom para marcações. Já o livro de questões é em papel reciclado.

Excellent book. I bought this combo for Rs 4.7k in one of Amazon offers and never turned to other books. Very simple language , well explained concepts with a lot of examples. I don't know whether the sample questions in this book will help the actual Cissp exam since these are simple questions(not the 'think like a manager' questions). It's a start for CISSP. It's a 1000 page book and take s a lot of time to complete. However, after u complete this and some other online resources, you will be perfectly ready for Cissp. Quality of book is OK.

Just passed the CISSP on my first try. I used Mike's Study Guide & Practice Tests Book and LinkedIn training only. Material is great and covers everything with a lots Exams tips. Highly recommend.
